    when you show favoritism to a select few, you can expect people to be a little mad. im not mad that I didn't get a card. I didn't spend money this year, but last black Friday yes. I didn't feel like anything they brought out this year was worth buying. and no more account bound mounts, turned me off of buying them.
    so yeah, when the select few, be it whales, or if it is a promotional thing for the game, people getting these cards and coming on bragging about getting one and rubbing it in people's faces when they are already upset that there wasn't a Christmas event, then yeah, expect some to be a little bitter. again, im not mad or upset, but I think the ones that got one should have kept it to themselves cause of people getting upset.
    that's like having 3 kids, and only giving one of them a present, and then they go back telling the other 2 that they got one, and the other 2 didn't do anything wrong, and it wasn't the one kids birthday or anything. but if you want me to be thankful, I can be.....thank you eme for sending out some Christmas cards to some but not all players. you are so kind.

    It's the people getting upset over nothing the issue, not EME sending post cards to random people and those people sharing their happiness because their luck with others.

    And before others wonder, I didn't receive any post card from EME.

    Usagi, if you manage a large community, you try not to favor some over others.
    Yes, it is a nice gesture, however, did all US players with registered address receive a postcard?
    Why not a website holiday post with staff signatures?

    I agree with you, I also wonder why not an e-mail at least for every player, but after all is not something to be worried at all, they choose the less efective way to please a few and let others wondering why only them.

    However I don't think those who get the post card and in their happiness came here to thank that little thing to EME are trying to brag about it, maybe they didn't know that they were part of a random group chosen to get them. Nothing to be salty about them.

    they all didn't sign all the cards but spacecats did sign some as shown in the twitch stream of the event when it happened

    I too got a holiday card from eme.

    I will admit this was not the best year for eme. Lots of downs, little ups. But sending a greeting card is always a nice touch. I always appreciate the little things, so thank you EME for the nice card. In fact, this is the first time in 5 years of tera that I get a card from eme.

    Only the people that have spent a sh*t ton of money on TERA have gotten it (e.g: T9+) I guess you can call it a “nice” gesture.

    The people who got them where selected at random.

    The cards are pretty neat; I didn't get one, I was thinking that they emailed you guys a Christmas card at first, but seeing that they mailed you one in the mail that is something that I never heard of a gaming company doing before. Now I hate all the games that I spent a lot of money on stupid loot boxes and never got a card from them.
