Merge Servers?

Why not merge the low pop servers, it makes sense to instead of having these just dead/dieing out servers and over inflation of prices.

    1. names are an issue and people who have had their name for a very long name and are still active would lose them. which is unfair. guild names would be a possible issue too.

    2. maybe not everyone wants to be on a huge server.

    3. lmfao have you seen our current servers? ping spikes every day on the dot, constant lag. we need enmass to focus on the current servers, not make even more.

  • Merging low population servers with servers that are high population is a VERY bad idea. First and foremost, people would lose names during the merge and that will make players very unhappy. Second, the high volume servers would wind up with a queue to get players in-game, which would over time drive players away.

    Some people play the low population servers to keep away from the drama and idiocy that tends to arise on the higher population servers. Those servers also tend to have less lag issues because they aren't working as hard to support the player base that's running loose on them.

    Lastly, many people have characters on several servers so there is the risk of the merge putting those players past their character max of sixteen on any server.
