Halved Vanguard Rewards

Logged in today to find the iod rewards of boxes and tokens have been halved (24 to 12, 1 box instead of two), and hard mode dungeons are now half the dragon scales and noct. Happy New Year right?
The low tier island of dawn was perhaps the best farming place in the game for new 65s. With the gold req even to get to twistshard to run 431 dungeons, new players need more then 6 412 runs a day to get the gold to start in on the non-trivial party dungeons, and farming gold talents on these easy bosses was a primary way to achieve that.
The high tier ones can only be completed three times anyway, and are the only way to reasonably farm otherwordly shards solo (ghillie's drop rate is super lower, even if one had a bunch of alts you could not get any quickly) and since these aren't buyable with metamorphics, the other way to get them is rk9 and trH, which can be difficult to get parties for as dps esp on less populated servers. And of course they are 1 per dungeon, so even if you manage to run 4 a day you average less than 1 a day. These are also the source of tier three etchings and selected glyphs, which already took a few days to get (72 a day, 290 for all etchings, 180 per selected glyph) which is reasonable, but taking a couple weeks to finish off ones glyphs and etchings at 65, which play a large role in damage, is a bit of a pain. Getting them from the random boxes for me would commonly result in missing 2-3 after ~20 boxes, but now it takes double the work to get those as well.
Dragon scales - we need 400 to get the dragon. For the average player, running through guild or lfgs w/o a static, this takes plenty long, I certainly see no reason to cut the drop rate in half.
Noc - I don't think I have to explain this one, but, 85 noc does not cover a single boss in a hard mode dungeon. 170 didn't but it was better.
Please restore the vanguard rewards!
