Should we have more options for reaper or ninja?

'I must say the gender and the race locks are irratating me. Indeed they are great for in depth of character development in the game and having more choices to customize but, reaper and ninja at the same time, needs the class of Elin.

I really want to try those two classes but my motivation and thrive to come online everyday, playing a race I'm not comfartable with is not sastisfying. :(

I understand you are promoting the race to create a balance but at least have another race avaliable for one of the two class. I'm sure two race is better than one.'

What do you all think? Is it fine as it is or does it need at least one more option? What do you think?

    Reaper at least has specific lore for being Elin only (so I could kiiiiinda see it working for popori). Ninja, not that I've heard of. With them, the logic is quick and fast, which to me makes perfect sense to give it to Castanics too IMO.

    Likewise, I'd also have Brawler work on both sexes of Humans and Aman.

    I share some common arguements with you. But will it lead to a class or race imbalance? Because ninja and reaper could turn into a popular class if it's a success. Is there like a statistics to show all active classes played in the game? I'm not sure if priest and the other healing class is up with the rest.

    Elins were already the most popular race in ktera, and IIRC, the second most popular race here, before they added Reaper. Pretty sure they are most popular here now too, with the addition of Reaper and Ninja. Soooo yeah. >_> There's already an imbalance. Making classes slightly more open would only help relieve the race imbalance, IMO.

    That would indeed create a big gap for the other race.
    Human, Elf, Castanic must be popular at the moment.
    The only race that needs to fill in might be Baraka and Aman.
    Am I wrong?

    I'd be all for some more classes available on anything but Elins, all I ever see in the game anymore is Elins, I'll queue for instances and have parties full of Elins 80% of the time. I doubt these classes will ever be made available on other races, but I'm hoping they skip on Elins for now, and maybe do some Baraka/Aman only classes to at least try to inject some more variety into the game.

    Yea I hope the development team have something in mind for them. Wow over-dominating Elins race huh? I better get a team going then.

    Remember that with the ninja, it was voted by users in KTERA to be the next Elin class. (I've created Lore for this and all other gender/race locked clases...) Elins make money in KTERA, which will always come first in those huge 'improvements' to the game. The reason there is such an imbalance is because it is difference across the board. Way back when Castanic was the most popular I believe in the NA. When a company targets their main attraction on one portion of the world, it's literally 'forcing' other players to that race to enjoy the class, thus adding a cause/effect to allow them to say Elin is most popular here. (Now, I know some people will say no one is forcing you to play Elin... But it is like that when there are no other options for the class you desire you play as.) It's nothing more than marketing scheme.


    But as stated above, due to Lore is why the Reaper was Elin based. It fit in with the expansion, and aided in assisting the story like that we have for the Fate of Arun patches.
    There are other MMOs with similar ideas. Revelation Online has a scythe/magic class that is very similar to Reaper (... I play the same). May be something to try out, since there's no way they're going to change up the already in place classes.

    I did also consider the lore of the game to have gender and race locks. I just hope if they are other future classes, they should at least consider other race that are under the numbers.

    It's not too difficult to play Lore to male based locks either!

    All these "lore" excuses are bull. They've only been adding classes for female characters. Reaper, Gunner, Brawler, Ninja. That's FOUR in a row that are female-only, with the next one also being female-only. So FIVE. IN A ROW.

    The only reason they're doing it is because female characters are more popular than male characters. It's also why there are far more costumes for females than there are for males.

    It won't change either. BHS is milking TERA for all they can, so the pattern will continue.

    They're not gonna give gender lock classes to other classes, they were gender locked to that class specifically for a reason. I doubt they'll ever end up changing it to open the class up to more races/genders.

    No, they've said why they made gender/race locking a thing. And it's because it's easier and quicker to make the race gender locked to one race/gender than spending months on making animations for every race/gender. You just need to be patient. Cause you won't [filtered] when your favorite race/gender gets all the cool classes.

    I would like to see ninja released to castanics male/female.
    And maybe release druid/warlock class for amani, popri and baraka
