Buddy Up Benefits

The "Friendly Instance Reset Scroll" from the BuddyUp system is outdated. The scroll used to be nice because it didn't share a cooldown with the other reset scrolls.

The only relevant dungeon this scroll can reset is Timescape. It's useless. Please replace it with one that can reset the new dungeons (or all dungeons).

Also please consider changing the other rewards. After helping a few new players get to 65, getting the same boring prize option really doesn't provide any incentive to participate in the BuddyUp system. Moreover, the new elite consumables, "Everful Nostrum" and "Talisman Trio" have rendered the Friendly Triple Charms and "Friendly Candles" practically useless.

If anyone has any suggestions on what rewards should be included in the BuddyUp system, please post your ideas.

  • Most of that crap is outdated.

Like that t7 scroll that +12 an item.

These guys don't really think ahead before commuting to updates =.=

Or maybe they do and just dont care.

Oh it need to be renewed or no one ever gonna invite anyone. Those benefited for mentor are so lame that i doesn't worth me to open the window, generate the code and give it to someone with invitation to play tera. People keep asking for renewal almost a year now. But meh, probably they done have time to get to this issue in game.

It will be there for long now just like MWA boxes with obsolete cruxes or Velika's rep points that low levels get for exclusive things.
  • While I do agree that the BuddyUp rewards should receive an overhaul, I do think that they shouldn't be the main reason to use the BuddyUp codes.

They are called BuddyUp codes, yet barely anyone ever uses them in the way intended - to buddy up with someone new or returning! The rewards are simply there to give you a little something, nothing too big. After all, getting to know a new player or someone that came back from hiatus should be the main reason you are giving out this code! The rewards for the one leveling are there to help the players get back into the game with a new character or new players to make leveling a bit easier and faster and more convenient.

Now, as said, I do agree on reworking the rewards, as a good part of them are pretty useless and you can't even stack the candles in your inventory (bank works fine), so I don't really see a reason to carry them around :c

Good rewards create an incentive for players to actively seek new recruits to the game. More players means a more healthy Tera population.
