Tera as a problem. IDEA TO FIX IT :D
BOTS in pve dungeons
that fill roles they wont do has good as a player but it encourage people to get better when a bot does more then you
ofc bots wont be that good just fill in a role so you don't spend 3 hrs trying to make a bloody lfg. "As i post this its happening"
SMART Bots so they wont have any issues doing there job. """before you comment""
sort of the same to Overwatch bots set on hard. They give a good comparesin to what to expect to bots.

Coding.
Sure if you look at Ravenous Gorge and Channelworks, they basically gave you basic bots. In RG, you have the choice of two out of three; Priest, Lancer, and Sorcerer. In Channelworks, you had Lancer, and got to choose whether you wanted heals, or DPS. However, anything past this outer shell of coding would be impossible to code correctly without everything being buggy, and even if they did find a way to do this, they'd have to re-do each one to fit the dungeon specifically because of all the different mechanics in each dungeon, and not everything would be the same.
This would be too cost-effective and quite frankly, I don't think BHS would ever have the time to code NPCs to run dungeons when a player doesn't want to wait on players.
I know everyone complains about using IM, but I only have a bad apple here and there, and I struggle sure, but I get it done, rather than wait for LFG for sometimes hours.
Yes, this sounds like a good idea in theory, but in actuality, it'd be incredibly broken, frustrating, and just unnecessary.
I honestly don't see BHS even attempting to make a decent combat NPC for anything.
That idea goes along the lines of the training dungeons I've proposed a while ago, and yet it's basically the same, and won't see the light of the day for the same reasons.
Sure, they can be made epic. The bot can know all mechanics after all, they can do perfect rotations and avoid hits whenever they're coming. Bots of varying ability levels are a huge thing in FPS world, racing games, fighting games, almost any game type can have/does have bots of some kind doing their job. Imagine Tekken's bots that actually learn your play style and adapt to your aggressive/defensive play style. It can be done. But then again, just like the bot racers in Gran Turismo that don't bother AT ALL with your existence in the track and will just follow their line and crash into you if you're in it's line, you can image what our Beavis & Butthead team of developers would end up doing. Bots auto-attacking and hitting random mobs that should NOT be killed, running into the one shot mechanics, downright AFKing (hue), resetting the boss and so on.
