Never Let Go Quest. Help!

Hello, its me again(person that couldnt get to floor three of the Three Towers) and I am having very much trouble with the Never Let Go quest. Whenever I spawn in the dungeon, all of the Furyguards swarm torward me and attack me. It's quite annoying, and I am on my 11th attempt. I manage to get them to half HP before dying. Any suggestions? Please reply ASAP.

Not sure how you're having problems with this quest since I've done it on all 13 different classes with no problems whatsoever, but I'll give you some generic advice (since you didn't provide any other information about your gear or anything at all).

    1. Use 4 Hardy crystals on armor, and 1 Focused + 3 Pounding/1 Wrathful 2 Pounding crystals on weapon (since you really aren't gonna be back critting them most of the time if their aggro is on you)
    2. Enchant all your lvl 62 quest gear or lvl 64 weapon if you have it to +9 (quests give you more than enough mats for this iirc)
    3. Use proper glyphs for your class, and therefore proper skill combos (guides are everywhere)
    4. Use nostrums (and bravery potion/noctenium if you really need the extra dmg/defense)
    5. Bring the highest tier of potions you can use (yea players actually forget these exist at merchants)
    6. Spam stuns/cc skills

As a side note, please provide more information when asking for help. Not sure if it's just me, but I get pretty annoyed when people don't do this. It's like asking someone "I can't get my calculus homework done, any suggestions?", as if whoever is willing to help you knows what you need help with specifically.
  • Friendly NPCs
They don't do any damage. They are only useful to knock down the enemy. So always run away from the enemy and lure the enemy through your friendly NPCs for a knock down.

    Priority targets
As in PvP, your first target are the priests. They will heal their team mates, so there's no need in attacking the zerkers or sorcerers at all.

    Movement
The worst combo is when they knock you down and then have their sorcerers nuke you. So keep circling and running away. Pick one target at a time and focus on it. Doing area damage looks great, but it's useless in this situation.

    Break
Right under the boss there's a table. When I was doing this quest long time ago, you could jump on it and the enemy will give you a break. They will turn to the other NPCs and you can pop a potion. Not sure if it still works.

    Be safe
This is a long battle. Don't expect to be done in 1 min. Keeping yourself save is the top priority. Run away in circles until your health potion is available again. Use your self-healing skill (except for sorcs, which don't have one).

Those gears should be enough to get the quest done though (provided you followed my tips on crystal usage), so I think your problem lies in glyphs and skill usage. You should check out Redstrike's reaper guide (just google or smth) to help yourself. And remember to use pots.
If you're still unable to clear after doing the above, then I suggest queuing for Sabex Armory/Macellarius Catacombs to get to lvl 64 and to obtain the lvl 64 avatar weapon. +9 it and you should be able to clear.
There's really not much else I can help you with if you still can't do it past this step. Good luck.
  • If this is the timed story quest I'm thinking of, you can talk to the npc to start the mobs spawning and then just sit on one of the fires a little bit away from the npcs and they'll keep the mobs busy, they won't aggro on you and you can just afk until the time is up, provided you don't hit them or aggro them first. I do this everytime I go in, just start the quest and sit on a fire until the time is up.

I got the lvl 64 avatar weapon and got it to +9. I finally beat The Furyguards. I finished the quest, but then my game froze(and I somehow managed to beat Zoylyn during this) and I have to restart the quest. Thanks for the help though!
