Yep ... Is very easy indeed but to play properly I do not many gunners. You need to know other classes in order how to use what and when!
Also gunner is slow compare to many other classes.
Let me know if you are that good as you talk once is "very very easy" ....
As I said any classe is nice if know how to play no matter best gear, roll, etching, etc if you do not know you do not know and that's it. It's envolve experience not only with your class but with others as well.

Apples and Oranges. Balders is a one time high impact skill, where rag is somewhat different. Rag is a buff lasting for 25 secs that impacts a variety of factors of the Valkyrie. It also actually has no CD so even if they do get caught by a plague or a sleep they can build it back up in no time whereas Balders still has a 2-3 min CD.

Because I know many people and guild and I would know him/her if he/she is good enough. We can count goods players on fingers today!
Usually who is good does not shows up the real picture.
I have 5 years of Tera. We lost many players during last 2 years. At least for PvP.
Most PvPers in Tera are not even real PvPers, most are only PvEers disguised as PvPers who complains if they are put in equal grounds as other players because "muh gear" on BG's.
And Gunner is indeed pretty easy up to an average level, specially easy for 1v1 against melee classes; but I feel like the nerfs made them much worse in mass. Good gunners are hard to see rip
In the subject of Balder's being easy to stop, you can also stop Brawler's "ultimate", and Brawlers don't have the option to iframe during it like Gunners do.
