  • I would be happy if we had more balanced and fun PvP and PvE events with updated shops and such.. just like every other region.

But for almost a year of not two years we did get nothing like that.

    Nada.

    Zero.

Then we see popular regions like EU or RU ( the KR/JP are probably as much as popular ) with plenty of events or other stuff that do not break the economy and yet motivate players to want to get involved and then again we realize that it is not like the game is dying or anything but instead it is all about management.

At the very least the guardian missions will come soon which will give us a fresh wind for a while though i am very curious to see what will happen with the Vanguards ( the shop will be updated for example when we will go to x1 rewards or the so called double/triple events will be used as kicker to not update the shop? then what about the keen mote at IOD? ).
  • Too many times I keep seeing this reoccurring theme of EME vs. BHS.

One is the publisher and the other is the developer.

Here's an example of the difference:

Ima Smartypants writes a great book on Chemistry (TERA) and wants it published. She goes to a publisher GreatTextbooks (EME) and they agree to publish her work. The book is so well written that no one can put it down (or play it for hours-on-end TERA). It's a success!

The two skill sets required (publishing/developing) are totally different. I would not expect the publisher to be able to answer technical questions and vice-versa the developer to answer marketing strategies for NA or customer service types of issues.

The issue of new content is not a publisher (EME) type of question. You're currently on the publisher's site (EME). The Content (the actual writing of code) has to be developed (BHS).

So, here's my problem. I'd like to know if Ima Smartypants is currently writing a Volume II of her great Chemistry textbook? I so loved Volume I, received all of the errata, updates, revisions,... Do I ask the publisher or the developer? Has the publisher (EME) even agreed to publish her next great textbook. Perhaps Ima is looking elsewhere for a new publisher for her book....

The easiest way to get answer, and most direct, is to go to Ima Smartypants (BHS) and ask her, as I did, what's she currently writing?
