I get about 3 boxes per guardian mission and most of the times it takes about 3 minutes at most to get it doen so you will be jumping from mission to mission just to keep doing dps to get more points and more boxes faster..
Right now is better sell the boxes rather than opening, First day I made about 28k after selling the boxes with one of my alts, with my main I made about 17k from the gems I got opening 40 boxes. Yesterday I made about 24k selling those selling the boxes I got with my main and didn't take me an hour to get the boxes. Today I required a little bit more than an hour since there we didn't have a tank to keep the bams in one place ready to be a sand bag and I got 20k gold selling the boxes.
The only way to get boxes fast is to do "team work" to kill the bams faster, sometimes you will get missions with 2 or 3 tanks agrooing the bam from diferent sides instead of being in the same place to not make the things to get more time than needed.
This content, you rather do it alone outside of peak hours or rather try to match with people you know. At the end of the day the only thing that counts is how much dps you can deal so if you are doing it right you will be able to get almost 6 boxes in about 5 minutes.
Edit: Just to add more info into it. Prices have droped really fast from those boxes but they won't sell for less than 300, so that will make at least 12k gold from them plus 600g from the vanguard mission itself.
Anyway, Guardian missions are still better to get gold than 2 star dungeons if you are already in high levels of stormcry gear in the same time you can spend on them.
can you enlighten me about those 3 box per mission, i dont quite get it till now. i can only farm 1 box per 100k legion points upto 40x per character. and earning reputation that i can use to buy boxes on npc in velika specially the tier 3 one which cost 2400 reputation points. where can i get those 3 box per mission in just about 3 minutes?
Each time you get 100k contribution points in a Guardian mission you will get a jewel box, if you are getting only one per mission then you sure are underperforming with your character.
Plain simple, if you are under 25% in a Guardian mission I doubt you get a second box in the same mission.
If you have a character with top tier gear at higher levels, you easily can put enought dps to make it, you only need that tanks don't troll, do not expect healers to heal and to use cleanse or give you even a hand, this is a race between players to do dps.
I misunderstood it. i thought 1 box per 100k legion points + another 3 box every mission clear. sorry.

Gridiron is being removed and gridiron V2 should be coming in with the next patch. I doubt they'll bother with adjusting the VG rewards.
I want to make something clear since i have tested all sort of things today ( please correct me if i am wrong ) and eventually discovered this:
Points are being given based on the % by players so if you have 50% as dps ( healers count as dps for guardians considering the recent buffs ) while i have 25% as tank and we both have equal gear but you back crit while i am tanking then you get double points than me. But if i stop tanking and i am starting to move around not letting you to back crit then i get more points.
How does this make sense?
Also, the more players are in one area taking % from the boss then the less points given out to players in that area so finding channels to solo at early/late hours seems to be better.
p.s. i figured out today why you make 15k per hour as dps while i make 10k per hour as tank
I thought I said that this content is to be better doing it outside of peak hours.
You as a tank have front crit crystals so if you keep agroo you should not have issues on dealing damage even if you move the boss around, and if you move around boss to much you will make harder for everyone to do dps, even if you don't get enought % from damage deal on the bam if you make things harder for everyone then you are doing less boxes than you can earn over time and making everyone else have the same issue.
That's why I said this content defeats the purpose of team play and its only a race between players to deal more damage to the bam. If this is the case then I have see no purpose on having others in the same place you are killing the boss, they would rather make it like the ACE dungeons, throught a separetly instance.
Well, if anything these missions brings back a little bit of life to leveling areas where there might be people leveling, so it could be a great plus for the game.
