[MT] Ambush now recruiting
Hello PvPers,
As you may have heard, Ambush has returned to the game. Some of you may remember previous iterations of the guild from the past, but we have always been a core part of the Mount Tyrannus PvP community and its legacy.
Our primary goal is to create a close-knit family that cares for and supports each other. We aim for experiencing end game content on a competitive level, while at the same time helping and aiding each other along the way to become the best we can possibly become.
If you are interested in joining the guild, message one of our leadership team (Finity, Soraka, Sephranex/Turtwig/Couple), and we will trial you.
The trial process consists of two parts. The technical trial will be held in Velika if we do not know your current skill level. For DPS, the trial consists of dueling some of our members, and team 3s if we still do not have an adequate grasp on your skill. For healers, the requirement is a game of team 3s.
Following the technical trial, there will be an additional trial of 2 weeks in the guild where we will be observing if you are a good fit with our community. At the end of two weeks, an officer will contact you to inform you if you have achieved member status.
Ambush has always been a beacon of hope for the community, and we are back now to give players who share our vision a place to belong. If you are interested, show up at the trials and we look forward to seeing you there.

You should note that the trial is two parts. The technical trial is only half of the trial. The two week behavioral trial in guild is to assess your teamwork and ability to play well with others.
Also, I'm not sure what you're talking about "members who have left." As of right now, there has been one person who has left the guild, and she had an issue with our policy against being toxic towards other guild members. Perhaps you're confusing Ambush with another guild.
In my opinion, PVP in tera skill wise is measured by mainly 2 things.
1. The Ability to play said class and how it works ( involves combos, plain match ups, positioning / what you class generally do, awareness of enemy iframes, followups)
2. Overall knowledge about the game and decision making ( involves knowing the cool downs of Kaias GS Rally even though you don't play the class, knowing how to immensely impact the match by applying your pressure with knowledge in certain scenarios,) in general you play in a way where you expect what may happen next with confidence.
Of course the 2nd detail only be gained through sheer play time and deduction to the game. However, I would argue that teaching people how a certain class works does not take over 2 weeks. If assuming a player is starting from scratch and is fluent in English, teaching information about combos, iframes, and simple movement can really only take about less than a week. Sure extensive game knowledge and being an overall solid player will definitely take some time. but learning a class is not that hard. There is no use in teaching complete randoms everything if they aren't into it. Being a PvP player requires dedication and love for the game. Observing how tryouts behave and react ( especially novice players) in the span of 2 weeks can really determine if the said person really deserve to be in a top GvG guild. There SHOULD be a learning curve and imo it is quite clear to see if someone is really trying to improve or just going along with it half halfheartedly. 2 weeks is more than enough to suffice and separate the eager ones and the bandwagoners.
