Can we do something about the rampant kicking on Battlegrounds?
People just keep on kicking players off the team because they have equalized gear, don't have all the pve crystals, or for whatever reason. It just deters players (especially newbies) from pvp and people wonder why pvp is dead. We all have to start somewhere. I feel that you've given too much power to players deciding who is worthy of entering battlegrounds. You could get kicked for any reason as long as a few people vote. Ive been kicked off so many bg raids for being a member of a certain guild. If people who don't have pvp crystals are gonna get kicked anyway, then why not just make it a requirement to enter battlegrounds and make it so that it is harder to kick people off for any other reason

Whoever there's always a big threshold of tolerance to stuff. If you've gotten kicked because of EQ gear = against. I'll stand by you.
If you're getting kicked out of a PVP BG because you entered it with PVE crystals and don't have the PVP ones = passed my limit, I'm in favor.
I will always warn someone 1st to swap setups, but sorry if you didn't bother to pick some cheapo fine cruxes or simple niveots, that's too much to ask. It shows you aren't bothered with trying honestly. Having the correct crystals but cruxes instead of niveots, or the not-fine niveots is something I would NOT kick for, let the player who is interested in doing, learn with practice. But not even a correct set of crystals is a bit too much to ask, you WILL become fodder there without at least this much.
Again, there's a threshold for what is actually tolerable and what is kickable, EQ gear should be tolerable and kicking EQs is stupid elitism. Wrong crystals crosses into the "I'm not even bothered to try, let's just queue everything and smash buttons" zone.
I still remember the "If EME/BHS change EQ battlegrounds to UNEQ that will bring tons of players back to the game".
Well, I am still waiting for those tons of players.

@ElinUsagi If you took this screenshot today, we finished our large and medium fwc g quest during last 3-4 hrs. There must be something wrong on your character, or the screenshot is a fake.
The screenshot is not fake but If is not thanks to your FWC Discord group I think this BG would not pop up at all outside the hours you play.
One year ago I used to have queves of 30 minutes outside peak hours (not to far from peak hours) but never this bad.
There have been a few players (including me) asking a systematic patch for crystal requirement. But seems BHS is not willing to make a new system that takes a lot of effort, but cannot make $$ for themselves. According to KTERA, BHS just added a scroll as a quest reward that tells which type of crystals people can use in PVP when they released new battleground, that is all they have done.
Full PVP crystal costs about 6~7k gold. And, tbh, I do not think it is an elitism.
In the case of other people being able to pop while you're in queue, it's probably bugged for you. If it doesn't pop during the active bg time you should try to cancel it and then requeue. No idea why it's a thing.
I got inside a BG after more than 1:30 hours passed, the people who were inside told me that they were almost one hour on queve also.
That was almost 2 hours from the FWC Discord schedule.
As I said, the BGs have even less players than before queving or at least less healers and tanks in there to get that much time for the match making.
General population on BGs have been diluted with the time and UNEQ is not the panacea to bring them back to a better state it was some time ago.
Many ideas have been said like making CS or other kind of BG avalieble for low level characters to queve with level 65 characters but that won't be implemented here because K-Tera comunity was the first pushing to neglect new players to step into BGs with level 65 players.
Sadly the only things that can make BG more lively are not in the hands of EME, GF or the other regions out side of Korea.
heck like I said on my little rant: just at least bother with choosing the correct Cruxes... Or the crappy basic Niveots (non-fine ones). It ain't taking even 1K. That's 2 dungeons.
Part of the problem is a certain guild deliberately kick people so they can get more guildies into their team. Their excuse of "eq gear" or "incorrect crystals" is a convenient excuse that a lot of the tryhards can accept and would go along with.
There have been discussions about equalising the crystals etc in the past, but I will believe such a change when it actually gets implemented.

So the problem isn't really about newbs, or crystals, or elitism... the problem is your guild has beef with another guild. Not sure why you hide that fact in the middle of your rant, and sandwich it between virtuously wanting to help noobs.
Well... no solution will ever fix that. So pvp on an alt guild, or suck it up.
That was just an example of being kicked "for whatever reason". People have been kicked for less. But I genuinely worry about the population of players who pvp. I think that automatically kicking newbies on their first time entering battlegrounds is discouraging them to try it out again. It's like beating your kid for doing something bad without explaining what he did and expecting him to do the right thing the next time.
And yes i've been doing battlegrounds on a guildless alt. I only do bg on my main when my guild is doing a guild quest for it and we're all queuing with a higher chance of being on the same team
