Question about archer crit factor

@Mythogunner so you have 5 rolls on weapon. VM gear? I'm stuck with dread/slaughter, so I only get 4 rolls. If I go 2x enrage, back, and flat, I have to sacrifice crit. I guess my real question is, if playing as archer and you only have 4 possible weapon rolls, is it better to go double enrage, flat, back, attack speed, CDR, etc., or is it worth to roll crit?

@Mythogunner the sad part is that those were one of the first rolls I got when I started rerolling my slaughter weapon... I knew they were great rolls but I was hesitant to sacrifice so much crit, so I rerolled. Looks like I'll be rerolling yet again.

@Nektor I know the feeling. My archer lives for those crits. I guess instead of rolling crit on weapon I should instead just sacrifice my firstborn to RNGesus.

Never roll crits on weapon for PVE. If you feel you need moar crits there are etchings for that.

Roll canonical ones as was said befor
top: enrage
bottom: enrage, back, flat

Already have etchings, still need moar crits

Nah but it's okay though. I'll go double enrage. Should be worth against those BAMs that resist all of my crits anyway.

roll crits on jewelery and belt. Then collect those spellbinds from weekly and get your wep to 3%MW, that will help

@Nektor thanks for the link... I always wondered about the 3% thing, never knew how to tell. Will report back once I find out what % mine is at.

EDIT:
So looks like I'm at 2% currently. Grrr... yet another thing to waste gold on. All for 1%...? Maybe later. Still, good to know.

I don't know how much gold you have but I'd suggest you to save up and make a starfall bow. Having five lines for an archer is really important.

@Xaioli I have about 300k right now, but I also have several alts who will also need gear (+12 DN at least)... for now, VM gear is just a dream for me. Maybe next patch.

your almost there! save 200k more and buy a +15 starfall made.thats what i did for my chara^.^

@Darkshneider welp... I actually had 400k before I decided to spend 100k on the process of +12ing and rerolling my slaughter weap. I'm just afraid that if I do get a +15 SF piece, BHS will roll out a new patch a month later that makes it obsolete. Right now my main focus is getting my alts to 65 and gearing them up in dread; after that I'll focus on improving my main's gear. I know it's not that difficult to earn 200k, but that involves grinding content on my 65s which takes time away from leveling my alts. Probably better to focus on one thing at a time.

Back to the original topic... I rerolled my weapon with double enrage, flat and back damage. Lost 32 points of crit factor, yet with IoD BAMs at least, I still seem to crit about as often as I did with 300+ total CF. Crit factor is a lie? Or perhaps just diminishing returns after a certain number... not regretting the reroll so far (double enrage is giving me nice boosts to the crits I do get, which help to make up for the crits I don't)
