I just pray EME listens to us one day and gives us back the things we enjoyed with the game; the challenge of it all. A good solution to that would be the removal of avatar weapons and nerfs to armor stats all around, but that would cause a lot of newer players to leave, which is bad for business. I've been hoping we could get a vanilla server, or one around vm2 gear. Unlikely but wishing for the best here.
The TA community in Tera PvE does exist. They're the players who run end game dungeons in the form of 'score runs' with the aim of achieving the highest dungeon score they possibly can; Dungeon scores are primarily based on how fast you clear each boss. Check Challenger League under the crusade window to see some of the 'high score' dungeons this season.
This is why PvE is a waste of resources and why BHS are so stupid for not making this a pure PvP game with no grind. Every PvE game ever will have the same issues, while pure PvP games top the charts. You don't need content or rewards in PvP games, the fun is in the gameplay itself, which is what games are supposed to be about.
Counter-Strike is still alive after almost two decades with minor upgrades here and there, mostly cosmetic. Sure there are a lot more maps than originally but people tend to play the same maps, anyway, so who cares.
It's nearly impossible to have more than a few hundreads of fresh gameplay material, the rest is challenges/pvp.
And that's up to you as a player.
And by challenges i don't mean clearing 100 times sshm to get a title lol.
you are stale. this topic is stale.
Becoming the best player I can be keeps me busy for example. Some of you people seem to place the limit at gear, when gear is just a small part of what makes a good player.
Also, Tera is a MMO, meant to be social. Having good friends makes everything so much better. I think some of you might need to work on that one because I find it hard to get bored due to the people I constantly surround myself with.
