To sell or to use Stellar Blueprint.
So, i got a 3rd blueprint now, i sold th other 2, but now i have saved up gold and i'm ready to craft and spend it all of it.
BUT there's this thing called elitism. Meaning as someone in Slaughter+12, and people only wanting skilled players, i'm stuck on this paradox:
I need to run SSNM/DFHM/ABHM/WH so i can get non tradeable mats to craft starfall.
According to everyone in LFG making groups to run these, you won't be accepted unless you are on SF+15 and/or be skilled.
Soooo, saving up gold and buying a +15sf weap for like 500k is the only way?

If you see a lfg raid for wonderholme, abhm, or ssnm just a heads up, i cleared all of those with a brawler with just +12 dn no problem, reaper +12 dn without much problem.
WH its pretty easy so u dont need much to think about it, hardest part is the cage where retards appear and steal potions and die, or whatever.
In ssnm and dfhm, if the party is good enough you shouldnt have a problem, you just have to be a bit more careful.
So just apply, if they accept you go ahead and try to clear the dungeon, you dont lose anything by trying
also, if you're already +12 slaughter i don't really see the incentive to go SF, unless you're nuts and want to +15 all the pieces for some crazy reason.
What should i do with my money then? Saved up 200k cuz i was going to straightup buy a +15 weap at some point cuz it seemed worth it, since i'm telling you, EVERY SINGLE PARTY looks for +15dps to run the content i'm talking abuot (not sure where the mats drop, cuz as i said, no1 has ever taken me into SSNM/DFHM/ABHM/WH cuz i'm not skilled/slaughter+12)
And yeah, it got to a point where i see parties that require +15SF for DFNM/CW/FI lol.
The gear requirement is also because of the daily dungeon entrance limits. People want to make sure they don't wipe, so they prefer skilled and overgeared players to ensure that. There's also those who want a carry and don't say it themselves, and instead demand and blame everyone else.
Also, people associate the gear you have with your skill, which in my opinion is not the way to gauge skill anyway. They also think (and this one has some truth to it) that if you had better gear, if you mess up or if your rotations are not optimal, your dps/healing/tanking won't suffer as much as if you had lower tier gear.
In the end, it's best to do gearing runs in the top dungeons with a static or with people you can call friends (guilds and such that advertise they help people gear up are a good alternative)
If you're good, which I'm just gonna be hopeful and assume you are, and are in a full set of +12 slaughter with good rolls and the new jewelry and what not then you should try reaching out to a guild to run stuff with-- 'cause you are the more than qualified enough to run everything this patch has to offer currently (though like Nopi said, SSHM would be a workout). Stop looking to LFG where people are clearly just trying to get carried.
Also, dunno if you know this already or not, but all the SF mats can be bought off the pvp vendors with BC & KS credits, if you're into pvp-- and even if you're not, it can be the easier route since all you gotta do is queue BGs, even losing gives you credits after all. Grindy, but a sure way to get what you need, 'cause even if you do get into, say, a WH run, it's not guaranteed you'll win the rolls on any of the spars or hearts.
I don't want to tell you what to do with your gold 'cause it sounds like you grinded hard for it, but I can tell you that you absolutely do not need +15 for anything, unless you do wanna PVE hardcore and farm SSHM, which in that case, your first step is finding a guild/static and figuring out things from there.
But really, spend your money how you wish. It shouldn't be hard to get starfall mats anymore. You could even pvp a little for starfall mats.
It was said. One doesnt need +15 to do those instances. VM just lets you be lazy
i have almost 3/4 of the mats on my brawler, but i was thinking of making SF for my priest. BUT the priest is on another account.
when i use/open the blueprint, will it automatically give me brawler sf recipes ?
is my only option to make the brawler sf, sell it and use the gold to buy sf for priest ?:(
it'll only give you the recipes of the class you use the blueprint on-- so yeah, you'll get brawler recipes only using the blueprint on your brawler.
but, real talk my dude, aside from the gloves, i wouldn't recommend putting a healer in SF (unless you pvp a lot, i guess?), my priest is full SF and most of the time i just look at her gear like.... i wish i spent all that grinding putting a dps in SF instead LMAO
i guess ill put my brawler in sf and healer in slaughter. thanks
