Can you use Buddy Up codes on different Characters?

I was wondering if you can use more than one Buddy code per account, as in different codes for different characters? Thanks in advance for the answers.

    any character over level 40 can generate a code for someone else to use

    you can use one buddyup code on one character per server whenever you're eligible. if for example, you played on AV and TR, logged onto AV daily but stopped logging on TR for 30 days, you would be able to use a buddyup code on TR despite still actively playing
