    It's not "1 week before release" yet.

    Well, one thing is that the event calendar says:

    "Vanguard Request (added 50% Player XP bonus) Tue 3/13/2018 04:00 AM - Tue 3/20/2018 04:00 AM"

    So... sounds like all vanguard requests will give 50% more XP? Not sure if that's the only XP event or not.
