As an artist myself, I think what the OP is trying to say is that some of the art has painfully bright colors (they hurt my eyes too -- that's why I never use them) which I can understand, but I don't think it's realistic to ask EME to do that, as they have no control over any actual game coding (such as options).

Remember last year's piece with the hard saturated neon colour scheme and contrasting sharp composition?

I had to book an appointment with my optometrist whom, upon inspecting my eyes, was instantly blinded in turn by the sheer bleed-off of the intensity that the windows into my soul have irreversibly been scarred with.

My point is, you haven't seen nothing with this year's loading screens.

Darn kiddos don't dang know what a real eyesore is.

I take it you haven't seen this year's entry in the "blinding you with colour" category yet. Well, I did.

Very disrespectful to the artists. Think about things before you say them.

it just i am annoying to see too much anya and her friends
UGH yeah, when an art contest thing is over, it'd be nice to choose what we see

i'll never forget that ninja loading screen-- my eyes won't at least. the colours are burned into my retinas. the phantom pain aches to this day.

not sure why i gotta bend over backward to respect any artists, they didn't submit artwork for respect they wanted to win crap and they did, they get EMP and you get an eyesore. yay!

that being said, haven't seen any particularly offending valkyrie loading screens yet, so i'm on the fence about this claim

I think I know which one he's talking about, at least one, I've seen one twice and it was very bright and red

It will be nice to see all of the winners and honorable mentions on forum or tera site, as for previous contests (ex. ninja)
so we can save them and use for desktop wallpapers etc. :pleased:

I understand.... and I agree with the fact that there should be some option to deactivate the Honorable mention load screen ... very good, the artists made an effort to put their art there, my congratulations, I think it's very cool to give this opportunity to the good artists. .. but I would also like to deactivate it because I get a bit disgusted to see that nine out of ten of these images are of "p3d0-loli-furies" making face or pose "f * ck me senpai, but please do it kindly" D:
I have a daughter, what is she going to think of her father if she sees these (sorry for the term, nothing against art at all) crap...

Necrod but still relevant. We should have an option to turn this off.
