Archer vs Valkyrie

So how much more damage does valk actually do then Archer because looking at the site that shows dung runs and damage done Archer and valk seem to do almost identical damage

    New players won't be able to compete in damage. It's all about your party, your knowledge of boss attacks + mechanics, and your overall skillfulness as a player.

    Learn that first before even thinking about comparing classes. Bad players will be crap on all classes.

    Also you'll get mixed results of answers here based on newbies making a guess of which is better or answers from skilled players who is way out of your league to even get to their level.

    Simple Answer?

    Play whatever you want.

    Valkyrie is much stronger than Archer in endgame content if they're in Stormcry gear but consistency-wise, Archer is much easier to play so you'll see more stronger archers than Valkyries. They're both pretty simple in terms of gearing and theyre both not too hard to master compare to Sorcs or Warriors. Valkyrie gameplay is a mix of Slayer and Warrior. Archer is like 4 main dps skills you rotate, not much brain required after you play awhile.

    Anyways to answer your question play whichever class you want. Both Archer and Valkyrie are good classes. However if youre asking which one is more worth to gear, i would say archer.

    if you're thinking of starting a new chara between the two it just depends on your playstyle.
    you'll need to be at least 10m or so for one of your skills to hit and then you generally play around there. sometimes closer depending on the boss

    The powerful class is the class YOU master
    the only big different between the two classes you really need to care about is the range
    Arc's are long range
    Valk's are close range
