How's the OW PVP scene in MT?

Is there any OW PVP in MT, and how big is it? I always thought of OW PVP being really fun. It's also one of the main reasons why I started playing TERA. I know it's a given that MT had a notorious reputation with players who would gangbang weak players, but hey at least it's something that can be played for fun (casually) , to just troll people, or be competitive and challenge other players.

I thought that I would've been getting trolled while doing my main quest and leveling up in LOT. I was abit disappointed to not get anyone trolling me during that time, but I also want to focus mainly on PVP as my warrior. I suck atm and I'm still learning how to get into the PvP scene.

People are too busy making money or doing BG's to care about it. There are still people that do it, but it's rare. If you are talking about killing low leveled players, then yes, you can do that pretty much everywhere outside of cities and small outposts. Most Outlaws sit at Lumbertown bridge and kill new level 12 characters. If you are looking for lvl 65 OW PVP, wait for server resets and camp rare BAM spawns in Northern Arun. People want to get achievements, and that's the best time to get them.
  • LOL, that's what I was thinking. I was about to go PVP some guys while I was doing my 5k boss achievement, because I needed my 96 bosses per hour and it got pretty tedious not finding mobs of named bosses. I won't need to do it anymore since I got my 5k achievement already.

I may need to do that for Abraxis sooner or later because I'll start to be free on Tuesday for a couple of weeks to log on straight after maintence.

OwPvP is pretty much this. Pick on chars that can't defend themselves then run for the nearest safezone the moment somebody with gear shows up. There was TAR PvP for some time but that's gone now. And, well, OW offers no incentive to engage in PvP so if you are looking for fun(and don't consider 1shotting or killing afk people fun), you won't find it in Tera.

It's easy to find OW PvP. Don't listen to these guys.

Just go outlaw and go to daily Vanguard quest areas, or Island of Dawn.

Also, you can join a guild that goes to war a lot.

There is also alliance. It's not like it used to be, but there's still PvP to be had.

Yeah, totally listen to the guy who doesn't know IoD is a No PvP zone.
  • LOL, I know IOD is a PvP free zone already.

Except it's not a PvP free zone. It only prevents outlaws, but not guild wars.

But yeah, I've been warring enough there lately that I forgot.
  • it will be good since the implementation of the open worlld token system comes in shortly also :D
