Auto looting pets

I noticed that after having my pet out for an hour or two, he stops auto looting. I tried putting him away and then re-summoning him, but that didn't work. I can walk right up to my gold and other items and he just stands there, and I have to pick things up myself. He was auto looting in the beginning when I first bought him, but not anymore. This is the little dragon pet that I am having issues with.

  • It's probably hungry. Buy some Pet Food from the Merchant store, summon your pet and right click on Pet Food to feed.

pets need food like flying mounts need rest there will be an icon on page when your pet is out and when the bar is full blue the pet is fed when there is no blue in the bar the pet needs food but you van always feed them even when bar is half or even full , and yes they wont do anything when hungry
  • Yea, this still happens intermittently even when my pet is full on energy/food. He still doesn't pick up gold. I thought it might not be gold for me, but I can pick it up no problem. This also happens to my husband who has the same pet.

auto loot pets dont pickup gold
  • That's funny....because it does most of the time. Just not all the time.

They do, but for gold-looting pets, they don't pickup items. Pets also tend to react slow sometimes, where it takes a while before they start picking up stuff.
