as the title says, we are a groupe of 8 old friends playing mmorpg since 90s (not on Tera) and we decided to get back to duty, problem is, 4 clan mates are living in US, the others including me are from Europe. Are we going to be able to play the same party, the same dungeon and the same server with our PS4 separate psn region? or we must decide to recreate accounts in one region to be together?

    Is there any mmo that doesn't seperate regions? Cause the lag issues would rampant.

    WoW lets Russians into the EU servers and it's not a pretty sight on pvp i'll let you know. They lag all over the place making it very frustrating.

    ^ That's a big part of the reason why I quit WoW after 10 years probably the main reason tbh, I used to play on Ragnaros EU (PvP).
    Anyways, ESO seperates servers into EU/NA but you can play on either no matter where you're from.
    I like how Tera does it though because everyone will have the best ping possible... unless you're from Australia that is, not sure why they are assigned to EU over NA.

    why complicating things! Destiny and Division does not have this systeme and its all fine, playing with guys from US with zero lags.

    so to fix this, i need to recreate a new account with US region and redownload the client from US store to join my clan mates from NA? or else i play solo on my region server which is EU..., speechless.

    It is definitely not fine and you're lying when you say that there's no lag..

    In Destiny 1 and 2, I've done raids with people from the EU and the US and the voice com lags so bad by the time you get your orders etc it's too late and you end up screwing over the raid. Same with PVP. Spotters can't send the message cause by the time you get it, you're already dead.

    In The Division, those who live in the same region as the server have a massive advantage..

    Megashard servers in mmorpgs is the worst ever as it gives those living in the same region as the server a massive advantage and it is a system that has ruined plenty of other games in the past.

    the point is if you have a lot of friends in NA and you are in europe, just don't boder donwloading the game.
