STOP USING YOUR THRALL OF PROTECTION IN DUNGEONS!
They mess up aggro management for the actual tank in your group.
That is all.

Anyway my apologizes for those who don't understand ToP!
Your friendly Elin Mystic healer.
xD
> Well you need to use it for the endurance buff but it can be unsummoned. I will say that I've used it a lot in leveling dungeons and the tank never had a problem holding aggro against it. You should check your gear.
Same here. Never had an issue holding aggro with a tank pet present.
Second. Using a thrall of protection for the buff is fine, but it should be unsummoned again right after the buff has been applied.
Third. I've played a Lancer, Brawler and Mystic on the PC along with other classes since release. I don't need anybody to tell me how this works, as i know how it works. I always maximize aggro through accessories and wep crystals as well as glyphs.
Finally. Using a ToP will only gimp you.
During leveling dungeons, it doesn't matter much, but during hard mode, keep the ToP in your pockets after you apply the buff if you've glyphed for it and use something that'll actually benefit the group.
No. None whatsoever. They got a buff, but they don't even need to stay summoned after it has been applied.
On my Lancer, i can face-tank anything, but if the thrall grabs aggro during a block rotation, it'll screw over the party, especially the DPS (those who specced for it anyways) who will be standing behind the boss, which just happens to be where the ToP will be standing as well.. Read my other statement above on that specific subject. It has happened, not because of my skills, but because of the ToP mechanics and other aggro mechanics.
I'm fully aware that there are a lot of new players for the console version, but that is also why i started this topic in the first place, to enlighten them a bit, but i guess i wasn't being detailed enough.
No you didn't, and you should steer clear of topics you have no intention of contributing to on a constructive level.
There is no middle ground and no learning to be had.
