idk man, the next thing he would say would likely be why on earth is the awakening quest so long (it was documented to be about 30-45 minutes)

    forget this game

You'll be back after you settle down and take some chill pills.

People need to understand what "MMO" means these days. Shesh...

Man what is progression base system amiright guise? If you want everything handed to you like a platinum platter then pay your money up. Don't have money? Get a higher education and a stable job, then you can blow your earned cash to P2W if you don't want to work for it in-game.

    Dude you 100% right!

And btw take games like World of warcraft that change every expansion and a lot of other MMO's that is called MMO progression what is normal and should happen else the game will die down fast with no evolution.
  • Where does it says that you need a certain item level?
  • just sit and wait for failure, EME and BHS will get desperated again EME will suffer another massive layoffs in the end of year (like 2016) and they change it...

In ktera patches, when Ktera got it on the day, all translated documents by Lorri/Idioticgenious and the EU's awakened preview page found right here https://en.tera.gameforge.com/news/detail/preview-awakening

I'm more worried about warrior bug with awakening: No blade draw after cross parry. This is real bad thing.

Tough luck, Frost is easier to get now with the recent adjusting of Guardian/Twist (Awakening is the whole reason for this change). It won't be changed, never

This is literally just a whiny "I don't wanna work towards new stuff cause im lazy"

No-one is forcing you to grind out the other alts, focus the others

Don't know where you're playing because frost cost me around 150k to finally get, it was anything but easy to get.

If you didn't farm item exp and talents you may waste even more than 200k.

However if you farm item exp and materials you may need less than 70k to get full frostmetal plus daylight accesories.

It's been a long time I got my alt to frost but with the golden talents costing 45g ea now on my server, 150k is a good estimate.

Cost me that with my items having max Item XP so I mean I did farm the items and materials the problem is the wonderful fail that nearly constantly happens because RNG hates me.

Are we talking about enchanting and upgrading twisthard to frostmetal?
  • You need 9k gear exp from twist +0 to frost +0. I would recommend doing legion not dungeons for the exp. Legion is 40 a day times 30 gear exp 1200 a day, so 7.5days with out a single dungeon or any other vanguards. Unless you can get back to back decently fast 431 dungeon runs, this is going to be more time-efficient. Not to mention it's approx. 10k gold a day from the gems, so 75k from that while getting the gear exp. Plus it only takes one vanguard so you have plenty left over for iod farming or dungeons or whatever you want to do there.
I don't know what you're grinding for 7-8 hours but legion is better than just about anything else gold-wise and exp-wise.

are you kidding me? @Vinyltails it is easy when it comes to mats and gold but the amount of xp needed it is a head ache for all my characters.
@aeee98 I don't need gold, I can't do 30 dungeons each character. I already have my own grind and it takes 7 to 8 hours minimum.
@BlackHeartNoire fine my fault but the issue remains that it's too much grind.
@seraphinush what are you smoking? my characters are in guardian what endgame content do u think i can do? I play with all my characters everyday but I can't spare time for dungeon xp grind.
you all know how difficult this grind would be and you are talking like it would be easy makes you look like jokes, think before you post.

    Hello
I know this problem maybe not an issue for most of the player base but for me and many other players it is a big problem. From what I have read about the new patch "awakening" the item level requirement means that only one of my 7 awakening classes is able to use the awakened skills because all my classes have frost weapon only, and the rest of my gear is guardian. I have no more grind in me to gear up 7 characters and I have made 4 new male brawlers 3 of them 65 now, so in total I have to gear up 10 characters to get the new skills.
the solution as things stand is either lower the item level requirement or give away full frost sets or make dungeons drop rate for frost a lot more than they are now.
please consider these options EME, if you grind like I do then you will see why this is an impossible thing for me to do. I have in total 19 character 1 character is level 46 only one of my brawlers is item level high enough for the awakening.

I arrived late to the discussion, but it's been quite some time since the patch launched, you've had time to gear at least one char. I stopped playing actively before the arsenal patch arrived and sometimes I don't play more than 2 or 3 hours at most when I log in, hell, I know there were weeks when I didin't play at all, and yet I managed to gear 2 chars before the enchant costs got reduced and another 2 after that, and if I had patience to do it, I could gear another 2 or 3 before the awakening patch. However, that's out of the question. As the others said, currently the best way to get item xp and resources is to spam guardian legion missions if you play tanks or DPS classes, if you like tankling or healing you might as well spam dungeons, as long as you can hit the 431 ilvl treshold you should be fine. Alternatively, you can just go on a killing spree in IoD, it's repetitive and not as profitable, but it's so mechanical you will get used to it in no time, that's what I did for 3 of my 4 frostmetal chars (the 4th one is a mystic).

I really don't know what you guys are doing to gear up. If I am only playing 2-3days casually a week since arsenal patch and still get 4 characters to full frostmetal and 2 characters to full stormcry (one at +7), and have missed almost every single rally and event due to timezone and irl commitments, it means that you guys should very well didn't put effort in gearing up anyway.

Guardian Legion gives avg of 10k gold, assuming you only do 15x low tier dungeons that is another 9k along side around 105 gold talents and 15-30 silver talents. 4x ace dungeons gives an average of 3 silver talents. Ghille gives one in most scenarios and if you have elite that is two. Do that on just 2 characters and you are making around 40k a day (I estimate the total time taken to be about 4 hours for everything). Just one week or so and you would have enough gold to buy out a +15 deathwrack weapon from someone to convert to SC+2 anyway.

As of now, I find TRNM fast enough if you are in a decent party (2.5-3 minutes per boss max). Most people don't do TRNM because they think it takes a long time to clear for the gold, but it is still arguably easier than SF.

IoD low tier is now weaker gpm than dungeons imo. Unless there is triple drop, you are only getting a paltry 7 golden talents per run and a fraction of the gold compared to doing low tier dungeons, and the time taken itself is not that much different. I highly suggest people to stop doing IoD unless they need rare glyphs (do mid tier bams)

I have been telling this for a good time but many people continue with his mind set that IoD > Dungeons, however since Arsenal patch began IoD lost that advantage even with the double Vanguard Rewards.
