It's around 17%, not 50%.
Krakatox does have a power buff from the DoT.
DS should have a pretty big power buff too.
The values are still extremely high though, considering that some Talents are easily a 20-30% DPS increase.
DS1 - Wipe = start from beginning. Entry cost: 1 Ticket (very common drop)
DS2 - Wipe = restart the boss. Entry cost: 1 Ticket (rarer drop, eventually buffed to drop a ticket at Floor 22)
DS3 - Same as DS2
DS4 - Wipe = start from beginning. Entry cost: 1/2 Daily entries. Wiping counts against that entry.
Check your patch notes. It's 20% flat buff (effectively 14%) on release of awakening.
That gets buffed by 1.5x to 30% (or effective 20%) afterwards.
They can't even get past Floor 3, from the streams going around. And Kaprima is nion-impossible as is.
14.83M/s party DPS required to clear Krakatox in 10 minutes. And that's just to make a 10 minute timer.
And all the bosses have new mechs. And don't forget Manaya, where your DPS output goes down.
And knowing how updates are pushed to us, we will have to take down the same amount of HP, same mechs and everything. And I'm not sure whether even the top players on NA could make it without Talents.
It aint called "Cruel Dreadspire" for nothing!
And why the devs should please only k-tera players always????

I don't care about koreans, if they're so tired of grinding virtual stuff (afaik they love grindfest) they can join Na or EU Tera with free talents and play with 250 ms ping
We need this talent stuff (or some buffs, idk) or soon content will become unplayable here...

What's the point for a NA player to spend money (EMP) on a game from a company that never cares about their western audience?
If they care only about k-tera, then go ask money only from koreans!
They wanna publish Tera on the entire world but they don't want the responsibility of bothering with any other region outside their own. Neither they let the publisher do their own balancing, wtf!
This is well put. NA brings in a lot of money (or at least did), so why should we not receive any kind of balance changes
I will admit I find this even more discouraging.
I find slaying runs nearly impossible for my skill level. (I have a hard enough time staying alive I have to have every advantage I can get) After the change in gear, and my acquisition of top tier gear for the first time in 2 years playing, I had dreams of learning every dungeon. Every boss.
So I could challenge DreadSpire.
I won't panic. I'll wait to see what we actually get. But if we get what it looks like we'll get...

It's quite possible that consoles might be balanced slightly differently anyway if they find that average DPS is lower when everyone is using a controller instead of KB+M. At the very least, if the clear rates are low, it wouldn't surprise me if they reduce the difficulty a bit. (They also have to consider they're on an accelerated patch cycle for now.)
So anyway, all that to say... it may not help the case one way or another. I think they're more interested in clear rates rather than K-TERA vs. non-K-TERA clear time comparisons.
Can you give more info? I am pretty sure that i have checked all the up coming patch notes and did not see anything about this.
Initially it was 20% flat damage buff that worked out at 14% effective, because it's additive to the % weapon modifiers you get on the weapon.
