Are Relic weapons the only viable weapons?

I'm a level 42 Zerk and I'm always obtaining weapons from quests etc, except none of them are ever comparable to the Relic weapon I currently use. Are all these other weapons just filler and you only ever use the Relic weapons?

    Yes. The relic weapons were designed to make leveling easier for new players / alts. There are weapons from dungeons which may appear to be better when fully enchanted, but the super high crit chance on Relics (vs. the proper lvl range) makes them superior until you get the Slaughter weapon. That weapon should beat out the lvl64 Relic when fully enchanted and with some good bonuses.
