Warrior skill chains during leveling up?

So I just started on console.. basically been spamming everything and trying to end in blade draw.

What’s a decent rotation to use early on?

you need master glyps for this ( since you cant get a decent rotation with spacebar ), and only you can get in end game
  • What should I just be using in general leveling up? Any combos better than others?
  • Rotations for warrior in general are pretty vague because it works more on a priority system than a rotation system since your priorities lie in getting to blade draw and scythe as fast as possible, without wasting edge.

Depending on how early you're talking you may not have the right skills, glyphs or CDR to do full combo's but I would recommend some basic priorities:

    - Keep traverse cut stacks up to max at all times. This should be a #1 priority, as it greatly increases your attack speed.
    - Combative strike > Rain of blows is pretty good early game damage to use when you can't reliably build up for scythe quickly.
    - Early on when using dodges/Death From Above(DFA) a lot, dodge/DFA > Vortex Slash > Blade Draw is a good combo.
    - Charging slash > Blade draw is your fastest way to reach blade draw.
    - Poison blade builds 2 edge (with glyphs?) with low CD which is nice for edge generation, but it deals little damage.
    - Comative strike has a super low cooldown and deals surprisingly high damage, use frequently, but watch your health.
    - Rain of Blows, Poison Blade and dodge all combo into scythe, great if you need 1, 2 or 0 edge in order to cast max damage scythe.
    - Use Deadly Gamble whenever you can.

Outside of that, you simply want to build edge quickly to use scythe. Things like poison blade, charging slash > blade draw, rising fury > blade draw, and combative strike > rain of blows > scythe are basic things you can use. Overall just understand that your damage skills are, in order: Scythe > Blade Draw > Combative strike/Rain of blows > Everything else.
  • Since I apparently can’t connect to servers on console, couple of questions.

Where do I see my accumulated traverse cut steps?

I’m only 35, so about roughly do I start focusing on glyphs/chains etc?
Still basically just spamming things atm.

Is there anything to just flat out remove from the skill bar that’s all around useless?
  • Mangle, just take it off of your skill bar

Traverse cut stacks show up like any other buff on your buff bar, so you can easily keep track of them there. Ideally you never want traverse cut to run out, you want to refresh it a few seconds before it runs out, so that you can hit the enemy with the minimum possible hits before you cancel traverse cut for something else.

At level 35 I would recommend to simply read a basic guide, Essentialmana has a decent Warrior Guide which you can check out via that link. It's quite old by now, but most of the points it makes and the choices in it are still accurate by todays standards.
Although do note many of the points it makes are geared towards endgame, so I would recommend ignoring things that don't quite make sense yet until you reach 65.

Really though, you wont start focusing on glyphs/chains until you reach 65 and even then you'll need to do a bit of farming because you can really focus on your glyphs/chains. Tera has a really poor issue where endgame and the entire 1-64 levels are really disjointed, thus many classes shouldn't or can't play how they would at endgame because you gain insanely disproportionate amounts of stats going from 64-65 than you do between 1-64.

For skills that you don't really need:
Torrent of Blows is a tanking skill, so either put it on your tanking skill bar or remove it altogether if you don't tank.
    Battle Cry, same as above.
    Defensive Stance, same as above.
    Cross Parry, same as above.
    Smoke Flanker, same as above.
    Infuriate, same as above.
Staggering Counter and Cascade of Stuns are both primarily PvP skills, so you wont really need them in PvE.
Mangle is just bad, anywhere, don't use it.

Outside of the above everything else is pretty much everything else is used either a lot, or situationally, but they're still used and I wouldn't recommend removing them from your bar.

As a heads up there's going to be a big rework to warrior at 65 on PC soon, so many guides might get updated to match the newer content PC receives. As such some newer advice/guides in the coming months may not align with what content console currently has. You can expect the changes PC is getting soon to come to console in around 18 months or so.
  • So the cooldown on traverse cut is 10 seconds, the buff that shows up on screen is 7 seconds..

    I’m so confused >.<
