But fact remains valid, there were plenty of time and ways to gear up more than one character since the Arsenal patch landed, and there is still plenty of time, so it isn't really necessary to lower the ilvl requirement of the "awakening" quest, it's just matter of focusing on a single character for a couple of days.
and equipping is easiest its been and your leaving till it gets better ............... ok
Don't say equipping/gearing is easier its been.. it's not.
It is only less complex, since u keep the same set of gear but its still the same rng cancer and the grind for mats has increased.
I could easily get the last 4 full vm sets to +15, grinding a day would give me enhough mats for an awakened enchant attempt or 2.... now i have to grind several days for an attempt and cause of rng i'm still not even +7 on anything
In the past EME adjusted the ilvl required for some vanguard requests, but it hasn't happened again; look at Pit of Petrax, you can confortably clear it using guardian gear but you still need an ilvl of 439 to get the vanguard quest. You can suggest EME's staff to consider lowering the requirement, but it's not likely that it'll happen.
Anyway, I don't thhink that strategy will work, ilvl thresholds get updated with every gear cycle; maybe another gear set will arrive and frostmetal will become the low tier one, but the quest's lvl requirement will simply get raised so you see yourself forced to get the new set. So, saying you'll leave and come back when the ilvl requirement drops it's like saying you won't come back at all.
Maybe you're just tired of grinding 7-8 hours a day, I don't know what you did with all those resources, but depending on how much you've hoarded so far (I don't know how long you've been farming that way) you can try to brute force your way to the required ilvl, I did that on a healer alt because I just can't stomach running the same dungeons 3-4 hours a day.
