Console Server Addition's
Am i the only one who feels like the two additional servers to the roster of 4 was a big mistake? Personally i feel like its just going to cause sooner needed server merges and server transfers once the population settles from release. I really dont feel like it did anything but hurt the livelyhood of the original 4 on each platform.

Thats fair, i suppose if the data supported it then its reasonable. it just felt a little impulsive rather than evidence supported to me is all.
I don't disagree with you at all. They made a mistake adding the Highwatch server on PC, but that was like ~2 years after f2p release, and many players just used it as an excuse to hoard names for resale. It didn't work as they had hoped (and some mismanagement about the steam release.)
I think adding new servers in the 1st week of launch is probably a good thing. Tera might be more popular on console than we think... but they'd better get BHS to patch these errors and fix the EMP situation if they want it to stay that way.

Well i appreciate a likeminded individual's opinion on the matter, sounds like you played tera on PC after my departure, whether you were a release player that remained or started after. (I played from release nonstop till December 2013)
You are right we cant accurately measure the density of population for sure, not yet anyway. I mean im just worried about them stretching the population that thin across 6 servers when most people are debating their commitment to the game as newcomers and the Que system is already a absolute abomination atm. So most grouping is done in server or not at all currently.
You would have people kicking and screaming how TERA is the only mmo in history that suffers, lag, bugs and downtime... They would scream for petition and lawsuits it would be horrible.
Oh wait those people are already here.
Those people are here, and all mmo's have those problems, but that doesn't mean their concerns are unfounded. There are serious optimization and lag issues. They exist on PC. They exist on console. There is a game breaking bug where you can't be ressed... c'mon lol. People have purchased $100-$150 worth of stuff and it hasn't been delivered up to two weeks later.
Tera is great, and EME is ok sometimes, but you have to admit the upset people have a reason to be upset.
