I was just curious if we will be doing like gameforge ( Likely not but just curious)
During their awakening they are also doing a level up event for new players ,rewarding them with temp mounts etc for leveling up. I would love to see these types of events return to the NA servers and yes I will likely be playing on gameforge during the event. It's boring doing the same ole same old all the time. I need something to keep my interest going on my lower level characters.
I would love to see this community go back to how it used to be, when it felt like the mods and the GMS and CMS actually cared about the players.

We get the better treatment because next week (April 10th - 17th) we get double item xp vanguard event so players can get to full frostmetal +0 to get the sufficient item level to do awakening story quest.
Double item XP Vanguard > Leveling XP.
Not sure what the complaint is about. Leveling isn't hard.

See the problem here is Tera na no longer seems to do events like this for everyone. Yes they will drop an event like this for a new class and only that new class but the rest of the classes are left out. Please EnMasse do an event like this for everyone.
Also adding on gameforge is doing Item XP from guardians and vanguards as well so no, we don't get better treatment by any means. They do a lot more for their players. ( used to be we had all the fun no longer is that true)
The problem here is that you're assuming because EU Tera gets an event we get it too. Gameforge is not the same as ours so EU will get different content from NA. We can only hope that it will come here, some of that content does not come here.
We had a leveling event for brawler. Outside of class specific events like that we don't get this. It would be too soon anyways to have another.
The problem is GF gets MORE AND BETTER events than NA. Sure we cant have everything GF gets, but the events NA has been getting compared to GF is pretty [filtered]. GF even gets remade event dungeons, dungeon buffs (to help compensate a little for talents), and other great stuff.
Actually we have had many level event's in the past that were not class specific I've been here long enough to remember them. I never ASSUmed anything, I asked a question. Jesus no wonder people leave this game now we have all the noobs running in and attacking older players whenever they ask a question lol. Good job makes you look like an awesome person. PS EU also did an event for only brawlers and are doing another for *Drumb rolls* EVERYONE. The way a game should be. Just sayin.

Do you even know what your talking about? EU had that same brawler leveling event. was it too soon for them to do another?
The real Problem here is that EME is letting NA tera get [filtered] on by every other region and they expect people to continue to just buy their cash shop events. The population has been declining for a solid 6 months and it aint because players are moving to consoles, its because they are just moving on.
Tera NA is doing significantly worse than every other region in the world Tera is hosted and it is 100% EME's fault. Step up your game EME.
Thank you someone else who get's it. I am likely going to start moving over to EU just wish my ping there was a solid 40-100 instead of it being 100-150 range.
Does anyone have information about the events being run in other markets, like JP, TW, RU, and even KR? It'd be interesting to actually compare all the global markets to understand what kinds of events they do -- if nothing else to give more ideas of what could be done.
In recent months, EME changed their strategy to have a constant stream of small events (buffs, jackpots, bonuses, etc.) all the time, which is better than what they had before that (large blocks of nothing), but obviously there's a lot more that could be done. I personally like leveling events, but it's not for everyone either -- in combination with other events, though, it's probably a good thing.
I can look into and see. Counterpoint you've been here longer than I have so I am guessing you remember the old events as well?

I remember all the old events, yes, but some of the most memorable ones for me are probably going to be hard unless EME hires more community team staff. They used to have three people 100% focused on TERA PC, and now it's very diluted. This particular leveling event is one thing and probably isn't that hard in principle, but the appeal will still be niche. If they want an event that engages the whole playerbase or is really exciting, it'd take a lot more work to organize.
Anyway, this is why I'm interested in ideas that are fun but wouldn't take too much time to do. I wish they could go back to the old days and majorly expand the staff again, but that's obviously a business decision.
Same same. I like the level events though * mostly because I need more coupons* and I do like to test out other classes. I main a valk right now but I have been wanting to try getting more involved as a healer just cant find the motivation.
