Basically no lag unless there's 25+ people around or in Velika. Haven't been DC'd once.
Lurid isn't even necessary, it actually screws with the colors.
It has three settings, 1 is default, 2 is increased volumes and splatter, 0 is off.
My settings are on full bar and I have no issues on the Xbox Scorpio, other than the occasional stutter in Velika/Highwatch. You guys just need jobs, so you can upgrade your dinosaur consoles.
I would lower effects since they do make more work for your system, otherwise i have everything esle set to default and have little to no lag issues.
You make one vital error in your post.
Lurid Display does have something to do with performance.
Anything that adds something to the screen such as visual effects (glow etc) or adding blood and gore, or increasing the amount displayed on-screen decreases performance by x amount depending on the setting.
You guys are posting false and misleading information.
Everyone i know who runs the game on the X1X has the same issues as those running it on XB1.
The major issue is the memory leak and and the random crashes/console reboot as well as random stuttering anywhere in the world, plus the insane FPS drops in end-game dungeons. You'd need a beast of a PC in order to not be affected by it, and even then you're not guaranteed a smooth gameplay experience.
This game was ported using a mix of different PC patches, and the game has never been optimized even for the PC which makes this claim even less credible.
My Xbox is in fact called PROJECT "SCORPIO" scrub, says it right on it. Pre-ordered 2 just in case there were issues with the release, so far so good. Sorry you peasants can't afford the finer things in life, but this is one of very few pre-order editions that were available before the release.
Moving along a little further. It's not in any way shape, form or fashion called "Xbox One X," you f/king noob. Xbox ONE was ONE, this is TEN hence the X, so it's Xbox X dipsh/t. Now who's the gd idiot here? Foot in mouth much?
Being as the "issues" these crybabies are whining about are always in places like Velika and Highwatch, why would Lucid Display mean anything in game performance? Also, by default, there is no "splatter" which would be the ONLY thing graphically notable. So turning it off, once again, would have zero effect on performance, just as I said.
damn i hope youre trolling and really dont think its really called a Xbox X (roman numeral ) god you must be a huge fkn dweeb
Yeah, I hope Mr. Spencer realizes it too. lol
""X" stands for the random variable "x" in algebraic equations and formulae calculated into the Roman numeral. It represents an arbitrary value, which in this case, can represent a gaming system, media console, and more, to define its limitless possibilities." - Phil Spencer
So tell me, who's the DWEEB now? lol You little soccer mom raised faqqots crack me up.
grow up
This game, just like any other game is going to experience the same issues on an original xbox one, or xbox one x. You will experience BETTER performance and graphics on a One X, yup, I bought mine for just that reason, however, you're going to experience just as many hardships as the next guy, because the GAMES are the problem, not the system.
As consumers, we're putting up with it, we purchase the systems, and the games, so they keep spitting them out. Elder Scrolls Online is superior to almost any other MMO out, and it's experienced the same memory leaks and crashing that PUBG has, Neverwinter, TERA, you name it. Reality is, a large majority will play this game, sink more than 60 bucks into it and be done within 90 days forever and the company gets their $'s worth with that model, regardless whether the game lives or dies. I hope the devs show serious passion and progression early on, especially with some of the price tags n these 'elite editions' and what not, but like so many games before it, my expectations are considerably low.
with the system. Xbox One X and PS4 Pro has performance problems with tera too. I can confirm that.
I have no problem with the issues in Velika and highwatch that no longer cause a crash.
Game suffers a ram leak that requires a reset of console every other run of Sanguine Sanctuary otherwise you will die to severe low FPS on final boss.
This is kinda important given the hard mode of this dungeon is the one people are going to be hardcore spamming for gear quite shortly, I mean people are already spamming it but not many I’d assume. Wait til more players are in it and there’s going to be a lot more of this whining that you hate so much.
Which is a little similar to when I had to reset my PC every other run of MCHM or ABHM. It’s nothing new, I tolerate it. Console players are however a little less likely to put up with the stupidity that tends to come with trying to run games on PCs that never match exactly (software or hardware wise) to whatever the dev made it on or whatever other people run it on.
Using a PS4 Pro with go faster stripes painted on it.
None of your bloody business I guess why I don’t own an Xbox Scorpio edition or whatever the blue hell that is. But I don’t have one because I almost exclusively play Asian RPG games, and there’s more of them on PS4.
It helps definitely for fps, but it WON`T fix that issue. It just makes fps dropping not too bad so it´s still playable once the drop happens.
Once you reboot your console it works better again also anyway.
About Lurid: At first i thought it´s for blood as well, but when i had it on max there was no blood actually. But just to be safe i put any of the mentioned options to lowest(and simplify options to ON) and the game ran more fluent for me. Though i still encounter some of the fps drops at some boss fights, BUT it´s still playable and not... you know... this kind of a diashow.
Anyway, i really hope they do something about this in the future, for now we have to wait and see - the game is barely out a week. And whatever problems are there, i somehow enjoy the game on console like nothing else. Tera feels just awesome on console, they just have to work on its opimization.
