Do the developers give updates on the status of the game for PC players?
Because trying to play this on console is [filtered] absurd. Not a single shred of information. Not a single shred of a whisper on the servers going down or what. Nothing. Just dead silence.

P.s. Yes pc have warnings about maintance. Starts one hours before each.
As for the publisher which is EmE, nah we don't really get info either because communication isn't a thing in their vocab. However servers dropping etc at unfavorable hours can't be helped as nobody is in the office to communicate, there are people there to work on the server but not to communicate as that's another set of people who would be at home during late hours. Also lag is a known issue, and if you're in a region far away from the servers location then helping it is something very difficult to do.
During office hour crashes I have noticed them tweeting out and using the Discord to communicate with the playerbase however I'm not keeping a good eye on that so they may be lacking, which I expect tbh. Also remember Console is just released and has a lot of kinks to work out, sadly some of those kinks will take awhile to resolve.
For everything else, communication is pretty hit or miss. Lots of timed things like rally occur during a time-window and not at a set time, making it difficult to plan stuff out. Sometimes spontaneous random events will just happen while the staff are at work, which is nice except it sucks for most of the NA players who miss out since they're at work too. We had a cool page that showed what the developers were planning and when their projected release dates were, but that page 404'd when they revamped the site for console players. >:(
There is currently not a designated CM for the PC version. We had a pretty good one previously (at least in his engagement, personality, and responsiveness -- he clearly didn't actually play the game lol.) Currently, we usually see only three staff that respond on the PC forum, but Community Manager is not their actual job (dev team, QA, support.) Luckily, we have community members (players) that are badasses and translate Ktera notes months in advance, and EU releases theirs a week early (every single time... EME take notes please.)
Now as for Console CM, someone, correct me if I am wrong, but didn't they introduce the console CM on a stream weeks ago? There's no excuse for the lack of communication on console. The producer should be there, the associate producer should be there. The CM should be there 8 hours a day for the first month of console if not longer.
Lack of communication is going to absolutely kill their launch from what it could have been.
Yea, that's been down like what... 2 months now? We use a player created server status page now as well... I'm pretty sure I could transfer patch notes and news to a new website in one workday, and I'm a student. Let's take best on when the news page and roadmap come back... I say September.
