Was playing a ninja when suddenly I couldn't move at all, I glance to my ping and see its at 538 MS. I live in Indiana, there is no reason for my ping to be that high is it just me or is this happening to others as well?

    Seems like it's happening everyday and could be at random times too. Is it only comcast? Seems like mine is at the 7th hop always whenever I run a trace. Ping stays around 120-150 and red ping 200-500. Usually this lasts for 20-30 minutes and then back to normal for a while. It repeats every now and then.

    Also I cannot sign into Tera from their website like if I want to view my account or something. It just hangs.
    Sent in my eme diagnostic file but who knows if that will help.

    Wow see I was thinking it was only me , this is the first time it's happened to me in over a year. I reset my modem and everything but still it just went absolutely psycho on me out of no where. I was even thinking it was because I mentioned tera EU earlier like some revenge tactic LOL.

    This started happening for me when they did some kind of server migration a few months back.
    Ever since then, and daily, my ping goes to crap for 3-4 hours and it's only on Tera.
    I can load up Black Desert, BnS or even Revelations and I have no problems with my ping.

    Yeah, seems like a routing issue between Comcast and Zayo, again. For me, not on Comcast, it's not the most stable ever, but doesn't have the big spike. Definitely send in your diag info and/or traceroute to [email protected] because I know they do collect/aggregate those reports.

    It's happening again. The ping was 120-150 for quite some time and then slowly went down under 50 and back down to 20-30. But now it's shooting back up and down 30-70, not stable. Something is happening and it's been going on for few weeks now?

    Sorry but Is it possible you can somehow relay to the team as a priority for this issue because I'm getting the higher ping again and I'm not the only one either. I sent my diagnostic file 2 days ago. When I ran a trace, it's occurring at the 7th line again where the ping is high.

    Yesterday it was fine for 2-3 hours straight from 6pm-9pm eastern and then last night around 9:45 pm till 10:30 pm it went back up. It's manageable to somewhat but not fun because some of us are not able to play at the full optimal level. And with new patch next week, hate to have to deal with this reoccurring problem.

    I've just resigned myself to not being able to play in the afternoons, since that's when this has been happening for almost 2 weeks straight. For several months they'd fixed this issue, but now here it is again. RIP.

    I don't consider this a true solution but using Mudfish did help me with my problem. That said, I do wish they could just go back to whatever network setup they'd had for the last couple of months since it worked perfectly and didn't ask me to buy a VPN just to play the game.

    Today has been the worst day in the past few weeks or months. Normally you get the awful ping for 10-20 minutes which is bad enough, but it's lasting much longer.

    I think zayo has been fine for last few months honestly. It's just something changed in the past few weeks. Not sure if it only affects comcast users. It looks like (at least from my route it's taking), the hop in Illinois is having high ping a lot at peak times and I'm guessing that is close to the servers? Hmm...

    For the last 30-40 minutes, I was at 120-130 ping. It's not going down like it usually does. Isn't it fun tanking on lancer under that ping.

    Well this ping issues seems like never will leave us. Today my ping is worst than ever, I have to deal playing with my normal ping 200+ but today it skyrocket the whole time, not even 5min of play game without this lagg.. Where is the quality service eme told us weeks ago?

    Is EME looking into a fix? For the past month, 6PM to 8PM PST has been COMCAST/TERA 300+ Ping hour(s). Everything else works fine, just not TERA. It's especially difficult tanking bosses or trying to enjoy battlegrounds during these times.

    This happens almost daily to me since they switched back to Zayo on november i think, my normal 170-180 ms ping get to an unplayable 280+ ms with 50 ms jitter and lots of packet loss, always on peak hours.
    To "fix" it i need to pay a vpn like mudfish and even then it's still not good..
    As i'm an overseas player (South America) they don't give a #$&@.
    Thats's a huge reason that i(and a lot of overseas players) rarely play this game anymore.
