    Wow, titanic favor I wasn’t moving the stick left or right to select more people. I just finished my second run in the sky gardens and it was super fast with no deaths. This group was much better but I was also healing much better. Whew thx all.

    I used to play Priest on PC, and now I'm a Mystic main and I can definitely agree that who is "better" all depends on your composition of your party. If you have a lot of new people, Priest is usually better to help pick up the slack of the mistakes that can be made. I definitely felt that when I queued into Lilith's Keep for the first time and we had 4/5 new members. It was VERY hectic to heal as a fresh mystic in there with others who were still learning it.

    However, after that run, I've been running with a few people from the server I'm on and it's night and day easier to heal as a Mystic when everyone knows what's up. Though at the same time it's kind of one of those play what you find more enjoyable because a well played class is much better than a poorly played rival class. ^^

    I've a preist/mystic and now one on console.Priest are great but it feels easier and more healbot ish to me, Mystics i feel like i have to work and pay attention to a stuff a lot more which i prefer

    On pc I had both a Priest and Mystic as well as other classes leveled decently. I made a third healer and it was a mystic due to how more involved it was. I like to feel part of a team supporting dps checks with thrall of vengeance or wrath, crowd control with debuffs and curses, yet top everyone off with a good titanic favor if need be. I just wish more folks ate my mote skittles I keep throwing around.

    I whm in ffxiv so I think I go as priest and mystic seem more like a sch that how the jobs sound like to me from what you lot saying

    Mystics can very well carry inexperienced groups as long as the mystic themselves know how to use their heals and mobility effectively. My experience with that is a little dated however when i was on my mystic back in the day i was doing the Wonderholme Hard Mode raid and i solo healed the last half of the raid and Bandersnatch with Neon Green +9 Abyss Gear. This was before mystics got a amazing buff to their healing capabilities. point being both healers are fantastic in their own way. Priest just have a way easier time if they dont know what they are doing vs mystics.

    Some comments make me wish I rolled Mystic now.

    In regards to the Mystic being more involved sounds a lot like my play style.

    Not sure what to do now as we are only able to create two classessions per server. Already have dps archer and priest. But apart of me wishes I rolled mystic.

    Nah mystics aren't more involved, idk why people argue that.
    As a mystic in an endgame dungeon you pop your auras and you use your debuff every 20 sec while throwing contagion during enrage and healing here and there. Use some cr for mana, pop some motes. They require a bit less activity than priests.


    Btw dps and tanks are not supposed to pick up your motes unless they're literally about to die and you aren't able to heal them. Motes are mostly for yourself, the mystic. Picking up motes is a dps loss and you're expected to be able to top people off without troubles. So unless you're in a really bad situation (the tank is dead, dps scattered, panic) there's no need for the dps to stop dpsing and pick up a mote.
