the Dressing room is not up to par.

Too many times have i gone searching through the dressing room only to discover the item i was looking for was NOT there, however it was in game and available in the tera store.
whats the point of a dressing room then ?!
just throw every single wep skin, costume accessories , mount and pet in there regardless of date, because we all know items come back. Yes, even when eme says "last chance to get this item.. " etc
please stock the dressing room with every item.
another example: i want to buy a weapon skin off the broker but its not in the DR so i cannot preview it . im unable to find anyone with that skin on that class... isnt that what the dressing room is for ?

    It has been brought up to EME several times, that some cosmetic items available through the shop, are not available for preview in the Dressing Room.

    But throwing every single cosmetic item into the Dressing room would not be wise either. One good example is the Hello Kitty costumes, which were a limited time buy from the shop due to copyright. Should they remain in the Dressing Room, not only EME would get in trouble with Sanrio, but also, players would be wondering where they can get such costumes and accessories, when they are no longer available, and will probably never be again according to what EME said.

    You can preview the weapon and costume from the broker, but you are limited for weapons to see them on your back only, instead of in action. Just right click + shift.

    I do agree that EME has to put every released cosmetic in the shop, regardless if its available or not, with some exceptions. This is how it would be fixed, but i doubt EME will do something about it, as they need permissions from BHS, which hardly cares anymore about QoL changes and player feedback:

    - With the exception of Licensed stuff like Hello Kitty costumes and accessories/mounts/pets, Add all of the cosmetics to the Dressing room. Not available cosmetics should have a tooltip saying "This item is not available right now, but it will be during Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter/Back to school/etc as some cosmetics are tied to a specific time of the year.

    the big difference between previewing on the broker and in the dressing room is in the dressing room ur character can move around and pose differently..and pull the weapon out, ride the mount etc.

    The dressing room problem has been there since it was first implemented. Sure, stuff that has copyrights and was set for a very limited time should honor the copyrights and only be viewable when available. But other stuff, like, heck, stuff currently available should be on the dressing room. Also, broker preview doesn't work on smart boxes, so there's that.

    Another reminder that certain classes/races have access to some items while other classes/races have access to some other items.

    Because, you know, what race I am totally makes sense to preview something like a hat.

    i would also love it if it was a lot more clear where weapon skins and costumes come from ..it should just say so underneath instead of a useless phrase or lore comment. some are hard to track down or figure out for sure . most smart boxes are clear however not all.


    what weaponskin comes out of the nightfall smart box ?

    smart boxes would need to be opened for each class (pretty sure every smart box opens to a tradeable item, at least most do)

    any way, this is an idiotically simple solution that does sort of work.
    just list for 10 million gold.

    updating the dressing room requires changing the code which involves BHS

    to put a bunch of cosmetic items on the broker just requires a GM to load up a character and provide that character with the items they wish to list then place them on the broker at a completely unrealistic price no one would ever pay. this can be done by EME and would probably require 1 GM and maybe an hour of their time.

    I'd still prefer they keep the dressing room updated. I mean, it's there for a reason, no? It'd make less business sense to drive more people to the broker for previews instead of the dressing room which also happens to have a Tera store button, something the broker lacks. Also, broker listings are limited and we can't expect a GM updating a bunch of listings just to allow people to preview something, again, while having a dressing room that could be updated. So yeah, let's just have the dressing room up to date. With good planned ahead upkeep, they could have it on par with the current available stuff for minimal effort. I really doubt they'd need BHS to update it, since EME are the ones in charge of deciding what sale goes when, most of the time, unless BHS wants to throw something more global.
