Help with Lancer and LT button, skill mapping (block)

I'm a little confused with button mapping for a lancer character. When you choose the extra row of skills on your display, then you lose the ability to block (LT). I can't see an option to map a block to another button.

Tips or advice on how you've worked around this would be appreciated.

    You go on your skill menu, and press R3, this allows you to remap your skills to whatever you like! :)

    Thanks, but I'm aware of that feature. The problem is that I cannot find a "standard block" skill (previously LT by default), so I can't put it in another spot.

    ex: When you begin as a lancer, pressing LT draws your shield to deflect attacks. That option is gone once you choose to add the 3rd row for skills.

    Is it under "skills > special" along with jump, pets, emote wheel etc?

    On my berserker i remapped my block key to be L3 (left stick) and it works very well for me. As a lancer you may want a more comfortable key but its doing the job on my end.

    I'm currently using RT as stand fast, RB as shield counter. That's the best spot for me when enabling the 3rd skill bar.
