Trying to refine ore into ingots kicks me out of menu

On Xbox one everytime I try to refine ore into ingots or any type of crafting it kicks me out of the menu. I’m making sure I’m not double pressing and a friend was having a similar problem. It only happened after I try to open the drop down boxes after selecting armorcrafting or weaponcrafting.

    Are you using the crafting tables or does it happen while crafting during your crafting menu?
    Crafting tables are actually not working, when u use the crafting menu via the tables you normally just get kicked out. Just try to open the crafting menu via options!
