Glistening is a must for warriors. The removal of mana% refund on hit roll that happened since last patch basically screwed all of the old classes over mana wise.

I'm confident to say my rotation is very good and i consume mana very fast, recently y have been partying with healers that actually care about mana, so it hasn't been much of a problem, but still, when using Deadly Gamble + brooch, when cd is very low, my mana flushes through the toilet like two times(first time, mana pot, flushes again) the duration of DG and brooch, so at a very early state of the boss i've been oom which is not good at all.

Im going to start doing dyads, and praying.

    I

You don't want to know how it feels to tank .... when glistering is not an option.

Three types of Mana pots always on CD QQ

right now even with glistening dyad if your playing with a somehwat low ping and know what you're doing your gona run oom on single healer party. is always good to have 1 or 2 diferent mana pots ready for use because unfortunetly if you get too many blade draw resets you're gona run oom. if you dont care a lot for your dps just put a red glistening to save urself money...when next balance patch hits warrior's mana problems will decrease as they are lowering the mp cost of blade draw and rain of blows by a lot, however you should rly start working towards getting a glistening hardy, they're rly worth it.

yeah. You are right. But, still having Glistening dyad is better than without it. It's not just war. Sorc uses lots mp pot. Brawler needs some MP pot from keeping GF. Priest needs MP pot for buffing after rez team member.

So when i do my rotations as fast as i can to maximize dps, when BD resets a lot, and stuff, i end up with NO mana.

Now, things i've done to prevent this:

Having mana pots, they refill my mana bar but i run out of mana before it comes out of cd. Using mana droughts, i use it and in 30 secs im out of mana again.
Changed some glyphs, spent points on reducing BD's mana cost 80 points and another skill i use a lot. (Haven't tried doing a dg after changing this)

Now i was recommended to get some glistering dyads, but it's quite a gold sink.

The other alternative is to have priests that actually heal dps's mana, but it seems like NO priests does it, and since every priest is a pretty little flower you can't say [filtered] to cuz they have SO much to do on a +15 DFNM run apparently, i am stuck with doing low dps cuz i run out of mana (Sorry, had to say this, i know not all priests are like this) I had a priest complain he was doing so much he couldn't use that mana healing skill.

With mystics is different, they are used to drop motes, but not so many blue, so asking for some blue motes is not that big of an issue for them luckily.

Sooo anyone has another idea on how to not run out of mana on warrior so fast? When i was on generation/lucid i didn't have this problems and i can't remember what was different, i used to run out of mana without Infused charm, but that's it.

You won't keep mana up even with them mana charging. You *need* a glistening dyad or if you really want you can use a glistening red instead of forceful, it's a slight dps loss but can beat blowing through 50+ mana pots a run.
  • As many others have mentioned, for a Warrior, I really don't think a Glistening armor dyad is a luxury, more like a necessity in Warrior's case...

Even then, if you get very lucky and Blade Draw resets a ton, you'd still need Mana pots. I personally have 3 types of Mana pots (Potions, Restoratives, Divine Infusions) on my hotkeys as well as a Glisteningly Hardy dyad, and that's enough to help me cope with mana issues.

Also if the healer in your party won't use Mana Charge / Corruption Ring, good luck to you no matter what. Had such healers multiple times...

I believe that this is a good idea to ASSIST in anyone mana issues. IN FACT, I believe most guides out there will actually have those as recommended to keep on hand. I know that as a priest when you are in a pinch some of these things can help great deal when you need to do something to help yourself.

    The question is. @Based12,
What level is the dps warrior that we are talking about. IF it is level 65 I recommend you also keep divine infusions on to consume. That was the one thing you did no mention using besides the Mana pots you already do.

From what I have been able to gather,,and I wish that I could be more of a guide on this..But all I have is this rough video of an inspection of another player who happens to have those dyads in question.

The Video you are about to see is presently under 24 hour updating for hd enhancement, in order to be seen more clearly. Nonetheless it has been made available to you for future references.

U should have divine infusion, mana potion x and draught in your inventory . I do with my warrior, no problems with mp :proud:

Reaper is horrible in Mana too (it has a skill to refill but that has CD aswell) and Brawler is even worse. With Lucid you had a Mana Line which worked for the most ppl and now in Starfall that Line is Missing and the class Balancing didnt help that much i guess for Warriors and Slayers....
  • I honestly don't know why this is still being discussed. Any class played at a high level will need a combination of glistening dyad and mana pots. No class is exempt. End. Of. Discussion.
  • Do people with a glistening and good healer really run out of mana? I haven't played yet without my lucid swords, but I never ran out of mp unless I was solo and attacking banyakas from front.
  • If you have enough CDR and also unglyphed MP reduction on blade draw, yes.

Not sure why that guy is simultaneously using 4 glistening hardies. So much for future armor sets.

It's probably was "free" mana "vampire" in your weapon (restores some ammount of mana whenewer you hit target with your abilities). It's still obtainable in a new weapons, but to get it you need to sacrifice one dps roll, that you unlikely want.
