    this would solve that:
    One match per bg per char per day for lowbies to earn XP on Kuma and iron. Make them get out and actually lvl or dungeon.

    Lowbie CS may not have been perfect but at least it allowed players to play Pvp before they hit max... and the bg popped.

    I don't know how BHS/EME calculate their numbers for the player base activity.... but they should be aware the numbers are shrinking for so many reasons. and start taking action now to keep what player base they have left and keep them active.

    Active to me isn't logging in and afking btw.

    i dont see someone dodging in farming area or dungeon, we only facetank :)

    - CS is pvp contents. But, now, it's nothing but, just rushing. Normally, one round is done in 2 min 40 sec to 3min 30 sec. Increase gate/ crystal HP and let players do some pvp each other. Let it takes longer and raise it's reward.
    - Reduce Lancer's Guardian shout duration in CS to 12 sec. instead increase duration of Rallying Cry in CS
    4. Increase reward for CS.
    5. Increase reward for FWC.
    6. Reduce bomb damage in Grid. Bomb is just little too powerful.

    Section "problems"
    1. No it's not.
    2. If you say so I'll just be over here doing 900k to enemy mama while you refuse to learn to play.
    3. Priest's divine intervention was not the only problem. You could just fight the kumas and kill them to win even with all 3 grouped up because of broken class releases. Yeah no don't need this.

    Section Ask BHS:
    1. The problem with low levels is they dont have all the skills they need to be effective in pvp for a lot of classes that wasn't until 58 now its 65.
    2. Premade parties are another one of those unbalanced things. You're asking for you to be allowed to queue 5 65s against a bunch of low levels.
    3. You can set up to defend just inner gate then if you know its going down. Bomb damage has always been about 50% of hp. I assume it still does that and that's fine you should not be rewarded just for hitting people with a bomb.
    4. Sure why not cap out that belli faster.

    6. i don't grid often but when i do i play a broken class and i dont care about bombs because everything is always in the air or 100% staggered.

    Overall thread Kumas current is actually quite balanced if everyone has a stick that does 10k damage and a 5 second cooldown and i beat you would you be here whining about balance? If no then your issue is moot. If yes please explain how everyone having access to the same tools makes it unbalanced.

    Keep kumas it keeps me sane from all the broken cancer classes in the so called real pvp otherwise known as FOTMPVP.

    3. There was only 1 broken class when Kumasylum was starting falling down. The main problem was 2 priests pulling tank too fast and faster than Kumas.

    3. I said. allow premade and stop pre-matching. 2 men or 5 men premade CS wasn't the problem in CS. It's 5 premade team join together in one CS team with pre-matching system. If both side have 1 or 2 premade equally, it wouldn't be the problem. One CS team got newbies and maybe 1 premade, but the other team get 10~20 premade pre-matching team.

    3. Last time EME upgraded players gear to dread/ slaughter. The gear was too strong for GATE and Crystal HP. It broke the gate in 5~10 sec. Then, EME had increased a liitle bit of Gate's HP. It's still not enough to have fun in CS.

    -Before, CS team blocks the gate with siege tank and try to guard pyre. Use north ship to go behind of the gate and break it faster with back crit., South ship for Ninja, Try to take mid pyre. PVP at outer pyre to defense. Attacking mid pyre from outer siege tank. There were many tactics.
    It's now, outer gate -> inner gate or inner ladder with lancer -> crystal.
    I mean, it's too fast. We wait like 30~40min for CS without BG event. And, we play 5 min?

    4. CS bomb used to hurt so much then, it got nerfed. It did about 60~70% of HP damage. That's why 2x bombers go in pair to kill. If it does less than 50% HP, it wont' worked. I am not even sure you r using HP crystal in CS. But, CS bomb hurts like 30% HP now.

    Sigh it has become clear this is about your fee fees and not facts.
    2. If your mama is bad the other mama can be bad too and its a matter of having better dps shocker. Take responsibility for your own skill.
    3. Kumasylum was never balanced from its inception to the point were Koreans were win trading it. It was always either kumas were way to strong or some class was breaking it. It's gone and it should stay gone.

    -I am well aware of how cs used to work 3 -1 - 3 and all you shoot down north and south ship kill them on ladders and hope someone else moves that cannon to block and isnt afraid of dying in it. Thanks for the history lesson though.

    4.I havent been hit by a cs bomb because i stopped queueing it because i got tired of 5 man premades which you can still do because people whined for it when it was only swapped to duo and i never heard it being swapped back down.

    only on lose. else, 67 wins for KS to be capped. that's 10 win a day weekly. Half that amount to be capped Belli (4500-3000) +5000 belli per day from daily

    Without the BG event, if you lose in KUMA, you get 1k KS. Doing FWC/ Grid during BG event would be fun and faster for gathering KS point.

    For me, Iron tank is the worst PVP content that I have ever played in all online games. The second is maybe Kuma Royal. Place one more FWC or Grid instead of Kuma Royal for BG event !!

    It is 1k KS for loss and 1k contribution you get contribution by performing the task of the battleground which is roughly 90k damage to enemy mam kuma not that hard to do. All bgs give the same credit rewards.

    So don't play them if you don't like them It's as simple as that if people liked the other bgs enough they would queue them regardless.

    Sigh. I wonder, you played old Kumasylum and Old CS now.

    1. Sometimes I do most damage on Enemy Mama. And, our all baby kuma had done well. Still, our Mama got some servere lag spike or total noob, then we lose. Kuma Royal depends on Mama Kuma too much. If enemy mama is good, but, our mama kuma is bad. then it's almost no chance. Why do you think, you are only pro and others are all noob. There are many good baby kumas who know how to deal on Mama.

    3. CS was better before. CS had problem, since after Pre-matching. We didn't have much problem with 5 men or 2 men premade party. The main problem was newbie team VS 10~20 prematching team.

    2nd 3 - EME has changed CS players basic gear to Dread from old gears. Dread gear was too OP for CS Gate. it wasn't about performance of the team. But, simply, the Gear was OP for the gate. Later, EME staff, increased some of CS gate HP. But still it's not enough.

    - It used to be 2-1-2 for inner defense. Then, as you mentioned about OP clsss and Lancer's Guardian shout buff patch, it became 3-1-3 inner.

    - 160 KS is way too pricy for Lady's handkerchief. It should be BC. Still, it takes much longer time getting Lady's from BG than doing RMHM.

    Pvp isn't fully 'skill' based your ping and class has an impact on what you do (and gear when ever it's not equalized). There were also constant complaints about "noobs" in fwc before anyways, Kumas literally did nothing to change that. It was the same in pve, people complained people suck, but had no excuses, then came Reaper, and it was all Reapers fault, then leveling became quicker and that was blamed instead.

    The same will be true for making leveling "harder". They'll just be carried by people who level alts, like they do now, and not know anything. Unless there was a way to force new players from not being matched with alts and having them actually fail runs consistently they aren't going to learn, and even then, they would most likely just quit the game like they did back then. There's also the issue of skills needing to be learned earlier for some classes, such as Warrior, they're focused around edge and Scythe, and it's not learned until 60 or so. Same for Mystic with Boomerang, etc. A bit difficult to learn your class when it changes in play style at level 60+. Attackspeed before level 65 also should probably be increased to match the attack speed at level 65 with no additional attack speed rolls (attack speed from gloves and +12 weapon), which can be added into avatar weapons.
  • Frankly, I don't care about the technicalities of it, Kumas Royale is nothing like the main story line and it's not the game I signed up for. No instructions are given that I saw and the graphics are like a children's tv show: headache inducing and juvenile. Making it a part of a quest related to the main story line is just pointless. Yeah, maybe it's vain to spend time and invest in the way your avatar looks, but it's as much a form of self expression as your hairstyle in reality. Taking away our appearance of choice and throwing us in with a bunch of baby caricatures? It's disrespectful and I'm not going to hide that it made me angry enough to abandon the game altogether. I'd appreciate it if Enmasse would respect the service it receives from us players by respecting us as individuals.

  • just gitgud. to begin with, the mama in kumas is not designed for nub players, a good mama literally can carry the whole team. its a logic sense to not pick mama if u 'lag' and are 'bad', cuz the only thing u'll do is make your team lose cuz their mama was just standing doing nothing else that beeing a sandbag. and if u say its not pvp... then u should get some brain first. everything in kumas is controlled by a player. even the mama is literally a player. where do u even see the pve part? the goal on kumas is kill enemy kumas and kill their mama. and about your ping issue. i agree that high ping cant beat low ping. but it doesnt mean u cant do anything. a way to control mama with high ping is standing in your base corner and spamming breath (3) and ask 3 teammates to help defending. is some1 goes under u just right click to stun it and use 4 to shot laser. and then keep spamming 3. normally u end up with more than 450k-550k hp left by the end of the round, which is better than most of the noob mama walkings, and u literally dont even have to move. all u have to do is wait for your team's teamwork and hope they do their best and do more than 300k dmg in total to the enemy mama and then win the round, thing that is not hard if their mama is not expert carry. and if u dont mama with ur high ping (thing which it must be, cuz u should just let the best kumas be the mama and not taking mama being a noob to give free lose), u can easily do 100k+ dmg per round. its true that u may have delay on iframes etc but its not really a big problem. u can easily do 100k+ dmg per round even with 160ms and 5 fps. if u cant do it then or their mama is very good (thing that i doubt it, cuz it rarely happens), or u just have to gitgud cuz u s./.
    to sum up. ITS PVP. USE YOUR BRAIN. EVEN HIGH PING KUMAS CAN USE INTUITION TO IFRAME 1S EARLIER THAN THE STUN. WITH THE DELAY AND UR GOOD INTUITION IT WILL STILL IFRAME THE MAMA'S STUN

    1) Kumas is not real pvp no matter what people say it is, and it has next to zero ability to teach you how to play your class.

    2) High ping or not Kumas have clipping errors where you can get hit even though on the screen you are not visually hit (not just oversized laser)

    3) EME did not put this as part of the main storyquest, BHS did and EME can't remove it. And to be dead honest I don't know why it is even a main story quest but lol.

    I think someone should just lock this thread :/

    1) You play against other players or NPCs/Server controlled monsters? Players right? PVP. Player versus Player. Same for Iron. Online Chess when playing against your friend is PVP. It's not a matter of opinion but definition.
    Absolutely everything in TERA has zero ability to teach you how to play your class. This can even be extended to playerbase if we may. Dungeons don't teach your class, PVP doesn't teach your class, not even in-game tutorials teach your class.

    2) Yes, Kumas has desyncs independent of the ping. It just fluctuates in reaction time wildly for no reason and the hitboxes are a mess. It's a bug hell but I like it. Sadly we all know how BHS cares about stuff.

    3) Yes, same problem with Kumasylum, Iron and CS back when they also had those quests. I think BHS just chooses between red or yellow quests at random or based on rewards. Higher rewards: "Let's throw red there, nobody cares about story".

    And ye it was a dumb QQ thread to begin with, necroed with more QQ crap, but well...
