Healing Immersion & Lock On
So I’ve noticed lately I’ve been having issues with both my lock on heal and healing immersion. The skill will lock on and even do the animation but my party doesn’t receive the heals. At first it was an every so often issue for me but now it’s become very frequent. Is it just me? I can’t call off the specifics of my pc but I can say my ping is usually 60-70. So I’m not sure what would cause this..

But it does happen where everything goes perfectly, you lock on, you cast, it casts, it goes on cd, everything happens just without heals. This has been an issue for god knows how long but never really fixed
It happens to me all the time. My Ping will go psycho my heals lock on but don't casst and it's annoying. I try to explain to my team I am actually casting heals but they go off on me anyways.
Give priests the same kinds of lockons as mystics, this is [filtered] ridiculous.
It made me feel so bad when it kept happening in my first RK!! However I’m so glad to see it isn’t just me. This definitely needs more attention.
Umm apparently you're late to the party about mystic, that was a bug with the lock ons and was fixed. Mystic has the same lock on as priest. So if you're having trouble on priest with it, you'd have the same troubles on mystic.
Yea, It happens quite often with Titanic Favor (Mystic lock on heal). It also happens with Volley of curses, Arun's Cleansing Touch, Mire, Curse of Exhaustion, Curse of Confusion, and Contagion.
Yes they "fixed" mystic lock ons, however that does not change the fact that mystics' lock ons are much more sensitive than priests'. Even right now, you can stare at the floor as a mystic and still lock onto people.

I play both and I can tell you they're still different. While BHS did tone down the sensitivity of mystic lockons, they still are far easier to use than a priest's just because you don't have to be nearly as exact about where you're targeting. Hell, I had a mystic complain just yesterday about how hard it was to heal around a guy who was slaying because the mystic lockons kept instantly targeting EVERYONE in the group.
It seems if your target uses any movement skill, dash/charge/rocket jump, it will still put your immersion on CD (given it didn't reset) and play the animation out, even the floor animation, but won't heal anyone.
I'm actually kind of amazed that this is still in the game. I haven't had a healer as a main since around VM2 days, but I thought (for some reason) that they fixed being able to i-frame and avoid heals. It used to be my biggest gripe with playing Priest when using healing immersion on a warrior failed a lot of the time because of that bug.
See it's different on Tera EU than it is on tera NA my lock ons lock better there, and even when they don't I'm not made to feel like garbage like I am here on NA. I'm not from eu but began playing there and wow is it different
