    I tried for an hour straight yesterday to jump over the gate. Maybe I was getting the wrong placement. I kept going on the mountain and edging closer and closer, every time it'll look like I'll clear the jumps bam invisible wall on the gate. :'(

    You are right. I had multiple tabs open for bug issues. posted it to the wrong one. my apologies.

    Has anyone tried giving up the quest and restarting it that way?

    Sadly you can't abandon story quests. I wish you could. It would solve this issue.

    Update: Another hour, another day spent trying to Jump over the fence with no success. I have come to name this gate, the Berlin wall. In hopes that eventually it'll come down or I find a way past it. :# The future is bleak my friends. :'(

    Yea, I've tried that multiple times. The gate stays closed, I'm assuming its resetting the argon predator when I do that. Since I beat him but logged off. So it's not resetting the mobs needed to open the gate. :'(

    I did the same thing! Does anyone know if the racial stats have anything to do with jumping? I'm a plump little Popori so I feel like my odds of making the jump may be less since I'm a stubby little fella.

    It looks like tonight's patch fixed the quest reset bug that includes, among many other story quests, this issue. You should now see a dialog in the bottom-right corner that prompts you to reset your quest, and from there you should be all set.
