Just spent the morning downloading the game for PS4. Was tempted to buy elite from the outset, but I’m very pleased I thought I’d see what the game was about about before I did.

I’m stuck on the select server screen, for about half an hour now. Each time I select a server, the list just refreshes, nothing else. Does selecting a server now mean that I might start on a different server from my friends? Can I transfer after creating a character?

Ah well, I don’t think I’ll bother. God of War’s out at the end of the week and Monster Hunter World will keep me going until then.

    Right, thanks. Wouldn’t you think there’d be a message on the server screen saying that? Or even a sticky on here saying it’s maintenance.

    At any rate, I’m in now...played for about an hour. So far...terrible frame rate in city, environment elements popping in at relatively close draw distances, terrible OSD - massive and clunky at one extreme, tiny and impossible to read at the other. Both Neverwinter and Skyforge were better than this. Don’t think I’m sticking around let alone spend money on it. Feels like it’s still in beta.

    There was on facebook, in discord, in the new section of the site, and in the known issues post where they talk about the server maint. and what it should fix and then even link to the news post about the server maint......
