ever since tera came out with the new skills and classes and all that crap the community has become total [filtered] no one wants to help any one and others want to be jack asses just to find it fun honestly tera should do something about this bs i miss the old tera were ppl helped others and were nice not total [filtered] hats

    @manofjustice i was doing the awakening skill quest line the part were u can party up for a bit and i was trying to ask for help and what happens i get ignored and then when i point it out ppl start cussing and crap and its just like really bring back the old tera

    There are always [filtered] people, then, now, and everywhere in between. While it is nice to help, no one is obligated to do so.

    Ummm just so you know, no one is obligated to help you. Awakening quest can be solo-ed by all classe if you know what you're doing, even in ilvl 439 gear, so I don't see what the big fuss is about. What were you expecting when you "point[ed] it out"? That people would come rushing to your aid like they owed you a favour or something? The world doesn't revolve about you, and while I would agree that helping others is a good thing, don't expect it to be provided to you just cuz you asked for it.

    Generalizing an entire community as "Bad" because someone didn't help you with a soloable questline is pretty foolish. No one is obligated to help you. Throwing a tantrum and labeling a entire community is bad because someone wouldn't help you out with something that is completely doable by yourself is pretty immature.

    Unfortunately at it's core, Tera keeps being the same old game. Those "old guard" players that tend to be generally helpful have already moved on. I can't even get my friends to check Tera's new updates, that's how much "done" they are with it. And any new helpful players are being scared away by those that abuse them (adding them to friend list and pestering for help every time they log in). The only thing I can recommend is to find a helpful guild. There are still people playing that are willing to help guildies.

    It took me time to actually finish the apex quest line specially the last part with the dragon and zerkers are really bad at solo quest. It took me a while to finish it like freaking 30 times. I didnt even know you can party on the last boss but I manage to actually beat it. Yah no one will help you except if you have a good guild. Just keep trying and dont rush things

    @RKC You can't party for the instanced mobs (yes I've awakened zerk in 439 gear so I know how long it took to solo; the inability to activate Unleash while soloing without fear of dying is also another issue), but you can party up for the open world part where you're required to kill some trash mobs + 2x2 dragons, which is rather easy even on healers.

    Sorry it was so sucky and I feel ya. Are you in a guild? Ik the dragons actually took too long on priest. There was actually a raid on MT that kept stealing the Aggro from me lol had to call for backup

    This is why I went to Tera EU. ThIS RIght HERE! most people insult to new players, they insult new healers if their heals arent constantly critting, they scream when they die ( even if they are in a puddle suiciding) No one helps anyone anymore and it's sad.

    My experience has been a bit different. People can be arses and have little tolerance for experienced players not playing properly when they should know better, but if you explain you're new or inexperienced to them they help out pretty readily.

    Entitled people blaming one small thing equals that everybody in the whole world is toxic. lol

    Get out of your small bubble and welcome to reality. You have to fend for yourself to get the job done.

    I had people trying to reset my mobs or tag it before me, but I show them that I'm way more skillful than them and have a faster reaction than those scrubs did. And so... they switched channels and left me alone. If I'm going to deal with those kinds of people, it was time to be BETTER than them.

    Definitely complaining on the forum won't help you at all. All I read is something that you can post on your tumblr blog.

    ok first of all i was not saying anyone had to help me all they had to do was we are busy or be like we are only helping guild members. so before u act like i am trying to have the whole world revolve around me actually read what i said @Haloist . and @Maleficent94 yes i am in a guild but they all were logged off cause they have work or kids to take care of and all that and i understand that i really do. and to the others i am not new to my healer its just the way my set up is done its for pure healing no damage at all that way i can keep my parties alive.
