Deleting characters - ramifications?

First off, i did try to search for this, but couldn't find any results.

I have a Founder's Account, and last played TERA three years ago. At the time I didn't get much into it, and the highest level I got to was 20. Now I'm itching to give it a go again. I have a bunch of low-level characters (lvls 2-7) that I'd like to delete and start over, and before doing so, I was wondering if there's anything I should be aware of? I know in games like Guild Wars 2, each toon gets a birthday gift each year on the day they were created. Is there anything like that in TERA? Anything in inventory I should save? Sorry for the noob questions!

    As far as I know, there are character bound things and account bound things. Account bound things stay with the account, and in the case of items, can be procured from the account tab on Item Claim. You won't lose access to those. As for character bound, check if you don't want to delete something on that specific character, like a mount or outfit. Those cannot be recovered, ever. There are also old achievements and titles that cannot be obtained on modern characters. If you have the character space, you could always start a new character and get a feel for the game again, without having to sacrifice an old character that may have something you cannot recover.

    As for yearly stuff, characters in Tera do not get birthday gifts.

    I see, thank you very much for the info. I don't think those low level characters progressed far enough to get any mounts or outfits, but I'll check. Thanks also for the heads up about the titles!

    @Sirionne I got eme to restore a character I made from 4 years ago and it was lv 22. They can bring back almost anything if they're not lazy enough.
