Can't claim calendar rewards?

For the past couple of days I'm unable to collect the calendar rewards until later in the evening. They are grayed out, and I am guessing something is messing up with the login system as well; since I have claimed the last 9 days; but it's saying I have only logged in 5 out of the last 7 days. I can usually collect the calendar reward after 8pm EST, but not in today's case. Is there some trick to being logged in at a certain time or something that I'm missing?
