What are you listening to while in-game?

For some of us folks, we like to hear everything in-game...the music, the environment, the battle going on in front of you...you want to hear all of it.

For others though (and I am one of those other people at times), people prefer to turn off the music (or maybe turn off the entire sound) and play your own tunes.

So I ask you: What do you listen to while in-game?

I'll go first. When I don't have my sound on (and with me still trying to master ninja, it is not very often), I prefer to listen to the Beastie Boys...and also ANYTHING that's rock music (in the town where I live, we only play rock music in this town).

What do you listen to?

    I meant music-related, but....

    I guess that qualifies.

    lel

Music related. In game music is fine for me. I usually play at low volume and I'm kinda deaf anyway so that means i won't hear crp anyway ,,,,,
  • I listen to Metal/Rock like Disturbed, Trivium, Five Finger Death Punch etc ^^

I still have my ingameeffect sounds active tho.
  • It depends on the day. Sometimes I just listen to youtube videos while playing. Other times I put either Itunes or Pandora on random and just slowly zone out.

Depends on the day. I like all types of music, so depending on my mood, i would either listen some rock balads, or some metal, hard rock, classic rock, latin music, kpop and jpop, Instrumental, Classic, or simply the normal BGM of TERA

But most of the times, i find myself using the BGM of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim while playing TERA (not inside dungeons)
  • Not sure if links are allowed but here's the link to the playlist i'm listening to while playing TERA:

Links are allowed, but the link says Deezer isn't available in the country where I live in (USA)...yet.

    So...

But I am assuming it's a great playlist.

Mostly I listen to the BGM of Tera. Though during grinding, for example box hunt events, I am likely to listen to radio stations in the background. Normally rock related, but lately just old hits suitable for anybody (it is nice to hear a song you loved years ago play again for nostalgia, you just chant along!) - if it is during the holidays, station for Christmas songs. If not radio then other game BGMs of my interest (like Final Fantasy).

Depends heavily on what I am doing

War DPS/Tanking I lean more to Hardstyle

Mystic more Jungle or Liquid Drum and Bass

Sorc or Slayer DPS depends on my mood, I can go from Trap to DnB to Acid House to Pro Trance

The only thing that stay constant is I listen to 30-120 min long mixes that have a certain flow to them that matches the play style and my mood when I play

It just depends on my mood, most often I just keep the sound/music effects of the game going, but if I'm feeling like music, what I'm doing in game doesn't really affect what I like to listen to, but it's usually something from Tom Petty all the way down to DevilDriver or Parkway Drive.

Although when I think about it now, I guess i do have a higher tendency to turn on some music when I'm just farming/gathering
  • I turned the in-game sounds up simply because I love the fact Dakuryon and Imperator actually speak words in Shadow Sanguinary.
    "I. WILL. CRUSH YOU!"
    "I will RIP YOU APART!"
    "Pathetic wretches..."
"This despair must be new for you..."
    And of course, "Fresh..."

too bad his grunts of pain and whatnot are still the Korean VO.

SS is probably one of my favorite dungeons of all time simply because the 2nd and final boss are actually related to the plot. Dakuryon is the main antagonist of FoA.

Anyways, to the question, I usually just find a Vocal Trance mix on youtube and let them just come one after the other. the tempo and beat usually makes me stay busy.
