Buying SC gear is better imo becuase:
- you don't have to worry about all the gear exp u need to farm to increase your chances to enchant frostmetal
- you don't need to worry about farming the mats, emeralds and darics.
- rng won't be an issue and your QoL will be better becuse u won't suffer from failing enchants and losing all the mats (which can happen a lot even with full gear exp)
- EVEN if buying SC +2 gear migh be a bit more expensive... its better to just have a certain gold amount to gather and just buying the piece.
- Also is not like you wont learn your class properly if u skipp frostmetal gear.. you will start your learning training with a good weapon (if youa ctually need to learn your class)
External DPS meter. For the sake of the legality argument, all information is taken from non-eme servers wich allow those programs.
IMO, that would be just upgrading your Frostmetal, since you already have it. Stormcry +2 won't give you THAT much more damage than a Frost+0; it's a nice upgrade, sure, but if you aren't playing as well as you could be, then it won't be doing miracles for you. A Guardian player who has mastered their class could easily outdamage a clueless Stormcry, for example.
Those Storm players you see crushing the dungeons are doing so because they took the time to master their classes, not because of their weapons alone, as much of a nice addition as they are.
...to which I would add, you can learn while collecting XP on your gear, then upgrade.
Read guides, inspect people in Highwatch (of the same class as you) who are skilled in HM dungeons (ignore anyone in SC+7 who is only skilled in 412 dungeons) and see how they set up their gear. Go farm Island of Dawn, sounds stupid, but killing a few hundred Teraliths will teach you to maximize your DPS tout sweet.
You'll gain more of a boost by improving your technique in Frostmetal then upgrading to Stormcry.
You don't want to show up to a dungeon run in Stormcry and have someone in Twistshard outperform you.
In conclusion tera players frosmetal to stormcry is expensive and takes tons of time and gold, but if you maximize your character potential you can do tons of damage as epic gear does. Just by yourself. With your humble gear.
> Cost wise, you have compelling arguments for either self enchanting for buying into SC+2. However, I would prefer buying into SC+2 solely on the basis that it is much easier to LFG for the <5 minute 8x RG/KC runs if you have the SC weapon already. It's impossible to tell if a FM player has good skill just based on inspection, so you might have a harder time along the way with self enchanting.
Not really , Xd since awakening system started IMS are filled with strong mid tier gears and storm players.
I did 4 ravens via IMS in less than 15 min also KC and SF epic faster runs, so awakening system accelerate easy dugens time 80% or more.
God bless awakening.
> Cool ,we can have a positive feedback, maximize your character potential. Instead of buy a weapon just because you think , that may increase your damage. Thanks for tips I just save my gold for a better future. And focus on awaken my the character potential.

You keep missing the point.
If you really did what they say, practice skills and stuff in dungeons you will get to SC in no time. Dungeons gives all the things you need with a lot of gold.
But like someone said, it seems you already make up your mind. I would say go ahead and buy it and let us if your SC+2 could crush anything other than your wallet.
But then again, it's not always about efficiency, this is just a game after all, so if you like the Canaries better just go for them :P
Canary Chocobo is cool is bigger than monsters, on my server is only 150k i have almost 700 dragon scales, but spread between my characters, i will die before to get a free dragon from tera. Is hard to cap 400 scales in one char.
Prices of crit mounts are little bit expensive right now but i am a broker player. Bought 4 angoras for 10k when were cheaper. Sold 2 in 100k get 180k buy chocobo almost for free xd. And now happy chocobo riddings.
How did you even get that many metamorphic ?

And enchant to +15 and who knows how much tier 12 and alka in metamorphs will be ammount.

Grind, grind, and grind some more. Purchases of items with EMP can provide metamorphics.
Did I mention grinding?
Tera is all about grinding mats for a small chance to upgrade gear. Seems like a bad business model to keep people playing. But people keep grinding doing the same dungeons over and over again.
I’m obviously wrong as myself and others continue this grind...even non awakened left behind from new content and skills blindly grind away. :-(
First tab for stormcry, second for frostmetal. Left most section is stuff from essentialmana, middle section is estimated costs on max exp and 2% TERA reward bonus, right section is estimated costs on no exp. Prices are based on MT broker prices for tradeable mats only but I think you can just download the document and edit the prices in columns M or N, and I did not update for the updated upgrade costs some patches ago. Things highlighted in yellow are the important stuff that should interest you.
