Dam.n!, your CNN News is outdated.

Yup. Though it seems this summer, there's a big balance patch coming to Ktera.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the newer classes are going to be nerfhammered one by one into fodder.

Slayer is still near the top (competitive with gunner and reaper). It's just every other old DPS class that sucks right now, and brawler/ninja are still too OP. They'll be nerfed, but I expect more nerfs to follow in the coming months while they buff other classes.

You mean what should have been balanced and still hasnt been half a year later? Apparently some big fix will happen this summer, but if not. We'll be lucky if they fix the classes before next year if they don't release another horribly unbalanced class by then.
  • Yes, legacy classes are underpowered. But don't worry, we are expecting them to get buffed in 2015.

    ... (lol)

I actually feel like it's not so bad now, though there's still a lot of room for improvement and balance.

Yeah, the newer classes remain easier to play and reward you with less effort and overall can have higher performance, but that's not what everybody finds fun or satisfying.

Not even close to the top 2 Ninjas=3 Slayers the gap is insane

that's not true, at least 80% of the community has made a ninja be it alt or not and probably enjoyed it someway.

Where are you getting 80% enjoyment rate from though? I still see plenty of people not playing Ninja at endgame, including SSHM, and playing the older classes.
