what's left to do?

I have all chars except mystic. leveled all of them to 65. 3 has tier 9 and the rest has tier 8 gear all enchanted to max. and now its beginning to get boring. what kind of things do you do inside the game to make you feel entertained and busy?

i run battlegrounds, i do achievements for laurels, i actually read the story quests and side quests for some lore, i put new outfits for my characters together, i level a class i haven't played (running out of those myself, haha), i help with dungeon training runs, goof off with my guild. it depends on stuff you like to do.

and with doing all the yellow quests for achievements, you get to discover so many pretty places! especially if you take the time to explore!

i found this place in a level 40 area, and it was on a whim. i followed a tree branch that reached the ground and found a little house with all this inside. it was super pretty!

Over 30 lvl65s. Can't even keep track of my inventory and characters without a spreadsheet.

Interests change. There was a time when leveling was fun for me. There was a time when I played Kumasylum with no end. Right now I play CS with my healers. Sometimes even simple things like giving out leftovers (all the free stuff we got from events that we have excess like bandanas) to newbies on stepstone or lumbertown. Talking in global. Helping other players out and asking them where they come from (very interesting! You get to talk to people from all over the world). Giving away 200g to beginners (who jump in joy while 200g is nothing for an old player). Lurking for cheap costumes on the broker (actually, I don't wear them, just hoard them. And often I got nothing to wear ...).

You can have Slaughter gear and still not experience most of what the game has to offer. Have you run Wonder home? DFHM? SSNM? ABHM? SSHM? These are all dungeons that a lot of people who just gear up to mid tier gear don't/haven't run (at least based on my previous experiences in the gunner/brawler patch a lot of people who had mid tier gear and didn't know what there was left to do were people who hadn't run things harder than the gearing dungeon).

Have you tried achievement hunting? Like the person above I end to do reputation quests, side quests, and achievements for fun. I currently have a Diamond Laurel and 2 Gold Laurels both of which are working to Diamond.

I'd also agree that teaching runs (or runs with friends who troll and goof off in general) tend to make boring dungeons more interesting again.

Rest of the game is grind. Achievements for a champion laurel, pvp, guild stuff, hardest dungeons, helping newbies and not so newbies. Sometimes people just take breaks off the game to then come back next big patch.

I personally don't do HM dungeons because I know I'm a terribly slow player and I don't have the speed for the current HM stuff that requires sharp senses and fast judgement. Haven't done most NM stuff either because I'm a foreveralone with no guild or friends, so I feel that I finished what part I could solo of the game with my current knowledge and skills. Now I just farm IoD to gear up alts for yet more farming because I'm also part Lemming.

Just check your achievements tab and chose something from there. Some achievements have completion bars. See if any are close to completion and do those.

@nopi You might want to reconsider the whole 'foreveralone' type of play and actually join a guild. I got to a point where I didn't think much of what the end-game was and it just so happens that I joined a guild on a whim. The players in it actually took it upon themselves to teach me about the nuances of end-game progression and now I do the same with other newbies. In fact, I would say that the majority of the enjoyment of level 65 is due to guild participation (Crusade participation, networking, etc.). And you are not locked in to any one guild but can switch after a set amount of time. Who knows, you may find that you REALLY like PVP or Alliance activities (those people do exist).

Haven't really searched for a guild. So no idea who would pick an old gamer who's slow at all this reaction based end game and bad at memorizing things, who also happen to be kinda deaf and don't speak English properly.... yeah. I'm a derp and probably there's a guild for me out there, since I also like to joke and have a good time. but, so far I've been doing IoD, helping whoever I can around here, and talking to whoever speaks to me in game. Anyway. This isn't my thread and I'm not gonna hijack it for my social appeals. :pleased:

I want Bamarama back soon...literally, Bamarama was so fun...I lost 3 times in a row...but after getting a huge payout, it was as satisfying as beating that elusive dungeon boss.
