Server Status on Launcher

I've played a lot of MMO's in my day, and it always surprises me how so many of them do NOT have a simple thing on their launcher. A server status bar. Just a little something extra on the launcher for us to check during maintenance. Yes, we can always go to the website to check, and that is useful. However I find that most of the time, the website will say the servers are up and go to log in just to be greeted by the "Server isn't up yet" sign. Wouldn't it be nice to have something on the launcher to tell us before hand?

    Tbh I would go for just having a server status webpage at this point, but EmE decided to "update" the website and then put any fixes for it on very low priority. I've already been told fixing the classes pages are not something EmE is worrying about at the moment so I doubt any webpage updates are very high up on their list, gotta keep up with those console updates ykno.

    it seems they update some stuff that working just fine (not saying the updates arnt an improvement but) that brakes good things we like then it meh we will get round to fixing that but its not important at the moment
    well was what they updated that broke these tings important at the moment ?

    The fact they had to make the website multi-lingual to support console launch. Most of the main pages now have a language dropdown with toggle that lets you switch between English, French, and German. The also have the category filtering of news between console and PC.

    My guess is that, when they build a new server status page, they'll want it to be for console and PC at once, not only for PC. But once they do that, I definitely agree it'd be great to add it to the respective launchers.

    I understood why it was implemented and the need for it counterpoint , what I was trying to get at is was its timing was it so needed at that particular time to roll it out at what seems half finished whilst we were some what coping with what we had , it just seems that to take a small step forward in one area we had to temp shut down a few others and then get the same old "that will do for now" ~ but to will be continued soon

    Welp, I got in for about an hour, then kicked out. Took me a long time to get in before, cannot get in now. I didnt think this was a high volume time, maybe due to events. Guess that means some of us will Not get to enjoy the events. I do not understand how they know there will be a higher volume, especially w/ new consoles and other countries utilizing NA server. Im in North Carolina, have great internet, so I do not understand why this is so difficult. I pay monthly for years now, never miss a payment & I buy EMP on a regular basis. I do think it should make a difference to others who do not financially support the game. Sorry, I know I will get blasted, but people work hard and companies have an obligation to make money. I do not want to stay w/ Tera as this and other problems emerge, are not resolved, and continue, See how well you do w/ a player base that doesnt spend real money on a regular basis for years and plays only your game, preventing competitors from getting part of the cash pie that I spend. It feels like a slap on the face. Since I will not get to benefit from events, why would I stay~Please Tera give me a reason to coneinue sinking money into your game when I cannot enjoy benefits or to even get in game. I am gonna check status on Bless Online...

    I definitely recommend you send your diagnostic information as explained in this thread. This is a routing issue between your ISP and TERA's servers, and the diagnostic information will help them narrow down where the exact problem is and help them escalate it up the chain. The more people submit diagnostics with this kind of data, the better.
